"Perfect Ladies trip in an Amazing Villa"
Left on 06/09/2015 for a stay in June 2015
I recently had the opportunity of staying at Punto de Vista -- it can easily be summed up as an amazing place with an amazing staff! The trip was a work reward trip for 8 ladies. Working with David on the initial reservation process was very pleasant and pain free. He was very accommodating to our needs for the trip. Once we booked the reservation, David put me in contact with Raul who then helped plan all of the details for the trip from our meals, spa treatments, transportation and excursions. I cannot stress how wonderful it was to have such help in planning every detail of the trip prior to our arrival. And all of the recommendations were perfect for us. I read before going that the pictures do not do the place justice and I agree with those comments 100%! Even though there were only eight of us, I can easily see how this villa could accommodate much larger groups. There is not a bad suite in the entire place - each and every room has its own distinct character and charm...all with amazing views of either the ocean or rainforest. There were so many places where we would end up gathering for great conversation, games and some quiet time. The rooms in the Guest Cottage were also very nice and each had a balcony area with wonderful views. No detail was missed in designing this villa. The technology available in the villa was also top notch - from the iPads in each room to stream in music to the media room with the Apple computer, TV, the mini iPads in the common areas to control music in each area to the very reliable Wifi. Even though we were a...
"Pura Vita at Villa Vista Verde"
Left on 07/14/2015 for a stay in July 2015
Recently stayed at this beautiful home while in Costa Rica. We stayed exactly 5 days and enjoyed our time at the home. What you should you know about the home? -Follow the directions given to you by the owner. We quickly learned that in order to get anywhere in Costa Rica, pictures help. I don't think I saw one street signs like what we are used to here in the state. The owners directions were dead on and led us directly to the home. -If you choose to stay here, you will need transportation. Rent a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle and if you can maneuver a stick shift, get it. You will need the extra power and control to master some of the hills. The road to the home is gravel and you will be on that road for at minimum 8 minutes. -The home is fully equipped. All you need to do is pick up groceries on your way to the home. There's a Maxi Pali grocery store down the main road (approx 10 mins away). The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil or gadget you may think you need. The bathrooms have towels and soap. The laundry room even has detergent and dryer sheets. -You're in Costa Rica so you will see a few bugs. I believe the bugs may have come in when we opened the doors and a few tiny lizards or geckos came in also. I saw a few spiders but they were super tiny and seemed to be hanging around prior to our arrive. Small cobwebs in various corners of the home. -I didn't have a good experience with the internet. The manager Bert will give you a flash drive thing to plug into your computer to gain internet access. It never worked for me....
"Home away from home..."

Pictures do not do justice to the amazing architecture and design of this lovely villa. The detail of the villa is everything!! It was such a beautiful location surrounded by such beautiful people especially the staff. Perhaps my favorite part of the stay was the staff who made it so much more enjoyable. This is truly a home away from home. Rosita in particular won the hearts of the 30+ guests that joined for the events at this location. Spectacular views, amazing food, and wonderful people... what more could you ask for?!? Punto de Vista will hold a very special place and has created so many unforgettable memories! Close location to the beach and many other excursions... the attention to detail in both the design of the villa as well as to the guests that stay here is something out of this world. Thank you for the best experience and we hope to visit you again in the near future. We love our Punto de Vista family!!
"Great home in the perfect location"

This unique home was truly a wonderful find that was perfect for our group of close family members. After hours of searching for the perfect home, we chose Tolteca for it's atmosphere, views, proximity to the beach, and layout. The home is on a large piece of beautifully landscaped, ocean view land that is laid out in such a way that each individual family had a bit of privacy as well as enough comfortable lounging and dining space for everyone to be together. The home is in wonderful shape with many noticeable new updates. The pool was outstanding and well looked after. We spent most afternoons lounging around the pool having tropical drinks. The beach was about a 20 minute walk away and was very clean. The beaches in the national park were even nicer. We chose to take the bus back up the hill from the beach because hill was just too steep to walk up in the afternoon heat. There are quite a few steps through the garden to reach the house so might be more difficult for those with mobility issues. The house concierge Angie is always available for questions and helps with transport, meal planning, tours, etc. She arranged for a local chef to cook several of our dinners which were excellent. This is a beautiful home that is well maintained and the staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a large group looking for the perfect location.
"A beautiful house and an incredible staff"
Left on 07/02/2015 for a stay in June 2015
About a dozen of us stayed in this house for a week and it was magical. The property is absolutely stunning and just minutes away from a beautiful beach. It is right on the edge of the jungle so you will wake up to monkeys, iguanas, geckos, and other animal visitors. You will also be treated like royalty by their pleasant and generous staff. They know the area so well that they can answer any questions you have, recommend great places to visit, and even help you get anything you need delivered to the villa. When you are watching the sunset over the beach sitting in the rooftop hot tub five stories above the jungle, you just may not want to leave the house. We highly recommend that you ask them for Chef Desiree, her food was unbelievable and she made every meal a lot of fun.
