    About Silver Star Mountain

From late November to mid-April, Silver Star is one of the best places to go skiing in Canada. But there's plenty to do during the summer months, too!

    About Silver Star

Champagne powder and a mix of terrains attracts snow sports fans from all over the world. However, many keep coming back during the summer months.

The charm of the brightly colored mid-mountain village lasts all year round, and the surrounding national park comes to life when the snow melts away.

This is THE place to go for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. There are 12 lifts (luckily, only one T-bar) and plenty of slopes for you to try. It's even better for cross-country skiers. Silver Star has some of the best trails in the world!

In the summer, biking, hiking and rock climbing are the go-to activities on the mountain. If you're up for an adventure, Silver Star is definitely the place to go.

What to do in Silver Star

Skiing or snowboarding, obviously. But there are other activities that the whole family can enjoy and will create lasting memories.

First of all, we suggest going to the snowmobile park and having a go! Try it once, and it will be your new favorite activity!

If you want to give the reigns to someone else (literally) try a sleigh or dog-sled ride. They're great fun and one of the best ways to explore the landscape.

Head to the Bike Park, or follow the epic Beowulf trail for some challenging and exhilarating cycling. And look out for the 'Slay the Dragon' trail running race!

Silver Star doesn't really have a hockey team, but most locals support the Vernon Vipers! Find out why this is Canada's national sport and enjoy the atmosphere.
