THIS VILLA has been owned by Paul and Christine Collins since the year 1995 and we put in considerable effort us to ensure that it is maintained to the highest possible standard. As owners we are familiar with every aspect of the accommodation, down to even the most minute detail.

You are therefore able to book this villa with us, safe in the knowledge that the information you have been given is totally accurate and that it is in the 'premier league' of accommodation available in Playa Blanca.

Las Brisas is a large complex of bungalows originally developed by Wimpey with some of the properties being time-shared and others, as this one, owned outright. Due to its efficient management and superb facilities it has for many years been granted R C I Gold Crown Resort status. The site facilities include a well-stocked shop, snack bar/restaurant and bar plus pool tables all of which are poolside. Seating for family entertainment which takes place several times per week in the evenings is also by the bar area and has been enclosed by glass panels so that it is available for use all year round. There is also a big screen TV for important sports fixtures and a separate games room for children. A children’s playground is located by the pool and tennis courts which are floodlit at night also add to the facilities. The pool area is immense with sun loungers and thatched sunshades provided for your comfort. The swimming pool is very large and there is a separate children’s pool, which are both heated.

The position of this villa is quiet but convenient being in the heart of the complex away from the hubbub of the bar but only about 300 metres from the pool. It is a semi detached villa with an enlarged patio to enjoy the sun throughout the day and the outlook is onto a big beautiful mature garden. A patio set and sun loungers are provided for your comfort. Inside the villa is modern and comfortable and quite different from other villas on the complex. The lounge has 2 leather sofas and good lighting + a library of books The bedrooms are laid out as 1 double room (with king size bed) with an en-suite shower room, 1 twin room with a bathroom next door, all the beds have very recently been replaced. Kitchen facilities in the villa include oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. Other facilities include satellite TV, DVD player, safe, hairdryer and iron. This is a popular villa with both families and couples and is now one of the best properties on this complex with its modern stylish look.

Free wi-fi is available in the villa and reception. There are air conditioning/heating units in both bedrooms which work on a pay as you use basis and heating available in all areas for the winter months if needed.

Bath and hand towels for use within the villa are provided but beach towels are not. Pool towels are provided for exclusive use around the Las Brisas pool which also indicates your entitlement to be there.

Please note that during a limited period around early December the full facilities of the complex may not be available. Please contact us for full details if you wish to stay during this period.

Getting around

A hire car is the most convenient way of getting around the island but excursions can be arranged at reception. Buses to Arrecife or Puerto del Carmen and a circulating bus around the resort stop very close by. Reception will always call you a taxi if you need one. All the facilities of the resort are within walking distance so no need to hire a car unless you want to explore.

We will send you useful information for your holiday by email before you go. Check in is at Las Brisas reception where you will be given villa keys. Any snags, or situations that occur with the house whilst you are there will be dealt with by reception.

“Lovely villa”

We’ve just returned from staying in Villa 96 on the Las Brisas resort, this was our 3rd visit. The villa is a great place to spend a relaxing holiday, spotlessly clean with a large patio that is a sun trap all day. The kitchen has everting you need if you decide to cook a meal and having the washing machine was a great help. Las Brisas is a lovely resort with really friendly staff, There’s a large heated pool and a smaller one for infants, there’s also a bar that serves meals too. The complex is only a short walk to all the bars and restaurants and the beaches plus there’s a large supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. Overall we had a great week and we actually booked for next year on the 3rd day of our holiday.

“A Very Comfortable Villa on a Quiet Resort”

I have been coming to Las Brisas for nearly 30 years now, and it is just perfect for me. The resort is quiet, but there is a bar, restaurant and a pool if you wish to use them. Paths wander round the villas, with lots of plants and mature trees, and it never feels crowded. But the resort's big attraction to me is the proximity of so many wonderful restaurants, bars, and long walks beside the sea. I don't know of anywhere else in Play Blanca that has that feeling of peace while being so central. Villa 96 suited me well as it has been modernised, and - not something I have found before - it has it's own fast wifi with no limits on the number of devices. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and all the usual small appliances. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable, with a small safe in one, and plenty of towels and hot water in the bathrooms. Outside, the patio gets the sun most of the day, and the thing I love most is sitting there, first thing in the morning, with a coffee, feeling the warmth of the sun at is rises between the palm trees. Perfect.

“An ideal villa for a self catering holiday in Playa Blanca”

We have stayed at Las Brisas numerous times, Playa Blanca being our favourite resort in Lanzarote. This was, however, our first holiday in number 96. It is a comfortable, well equipped villa with its own wfi supply and is particularly well blessed by having a sunnier patio than most. The Las Brisas complex's main advantage is its central though quiet position; it is very convenient for shops, restaurants and walks along the front - 25 mins to the marina, 1hr to the lighthouse and 1hr 30 mins+ to the far Papagayo beaches. It's also a worthwhile walk up and round the volcano. 96, Las Brisas is a great choice for a self catering holiday in a resort which is less commercialised than some others.

“First Class Villa & Great Resort”

The resort of Las Brisas is in an ideal location close to the very heart of the village and a short walk to the main beaches. The resort includes a lovely heated pool, together with a bar serving good value snacks and meals. There is also entertainment provided on most evenings. Villa 96 provides well modernised accommodation in a quiet part of the complex. The villa provides everything you could need to have a comfortable stay including its own WiFi which is an unusual bonus. Outside, the villa has a large patio equipped with a large dining table & chairs and sun loungers. The location of the patio enjoys long sunny afternoons. In recent times the villa has been fully modernised and now provides walk in showers, very helpful for anyone with mobility issues. We have stayed in villa 96 on a number of occasions and already have further visits planned.

“Before we left, we booked again for next year..!”

Been to the Canary islands several times over the years, but first time on Lanzarote and enjoyed it so much we re-booked for next year before our two weeks were complete. The villa was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean and well stocked with a secluded sun trap patio area that’s ideal for lounging in if you don’t fancy going to the pool. The patio is well equipped with sun beds and table and chairs for eating outside which we would do each morning and occasionally at lunch time. It’s also quite sheltered from the ever present “Lanzarote breeze”. Las Brisas complex itself is very nice and in a superb location near everything that we were ever likely to need during a 2wk holiday in the sun. The pool is large and good enough for a decent swim, or to just cool down in if you prefer, and there’s plenty of sun shelter and beds meaning no mad morning rush for a “good location”. The on-site “clubhouse” provides a decent lunch and dinner menu if you don’t want to walk the 10 minutes it takes to get down to the seafront where there are lots and lots of good quality restaurants and bars. There's always entertainment on in the clubhouse each evening although we usually missed it because we tended to head down to the seafront at night. Christine and Paul are a pleasure to deal with and it’s obvious that they really do want their guests to have a good time. Enjoying your visit is clearly more important to them than just having your booking in their very busy diary. Can’t wait to go back again next July…

“Excellent Villa”

We have had a lovely holiday. Christine answered all queries promptly, was extremely helpful and helped us to organise our transfers from the airport to the villa. Everything was stress free. The villa itself is lovely. Very clean, spacious and had everything you needed – just perfect. It also has a great sheltered private terrace. The complex is equally excellent – very clean surroundings, lovely pool and great to have a bar, restaurant and convenience store on site. We used the tennis facilities nearly every day which was great. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby within a few minutes walking distance. We’d highly recommend it – we’ll definitely be back!

“Excellent resort and villa”

Las Brisas is in a very good location as the seafront and restaurants are all within a 5-10 minute walk. The site is beautifully maintained; it is quiet and very relaxing. Villa 96 is in an ideal position as only the adjoining neighbours pass by, and it is not adjacent to the pool area, so is really quiet. The pool has been upgraded in recent years and is excellent, with plenty of well-separated sunloungers. The villa, as others have said, has been well maintained and is fully equipped. The patio is larger than some, which is an added bonus and access is good. The office staff are really pleasant and they will deal quickly should you have a problem. You can't fail to enjoy your stay.

“Superb Villa & Lovely Resort”

Villa 96 is located in a quiet area of Las Brisas but is literally just a short stroll to the pool and bar/restaurant. The villa was completely refurbished and modernised recently and is bright and furnished to an excellent standard. There is a ramp to the front patio and the bathrooms have walk in showers. Very helpful for those who are less mobile. The patio is also well equipped and enjoys bright sunshine pretty much all day. In short, this villa has everything you need and is cleaned and maintained to an excellent standard. Las Brisas is an excellent holiday resort with a large heated pool, together with a modern bar & restaurant supplying a really good range of food & drinks at reasonable prices. The heart of Playa Blanca village with all of its attractions is only a 5 minute walk away which is very convenient. We have stayed in Villa 96 before and have always enjoyed our holidays there, we will certainly be back.
