Description

Only a short block from the beach. The Martinique suite is classic favorite of our patrons. It's Caribbean style amplified with over 20 sq.meters of adjustable white shutters. Our guests comment how much they appreciate the design, having large enough openings to really enjoy the sea breeze. But the shutters are just one of the many aspects of the Caribbean theme in which we implemented into our design. The Plantation house itself is a mastery of the classic Caribbean style, your eyes are lured to every detail from the detailed wood work to the magical tropical court yard. Located superbly with in a residential nook the the heart of the tourist area, right in between the pedestrian walkway 5th ave, and the sandy beaches. Only one block from each!

Getting around

Since we are well located. Walking will get you to most interests in town. If you want to explore further down the coast. We can suggest several options like hiring a taxi, bus, or colectivo. Sometimes renting a car for a day or two is helpful too.

Interaction with guest

Both Françoise and I are happy to assist with your vacation needs. Before and during your stay. I am living near by, year round and easily accessible by a telephone in the courtyard. I enjoy meeting our new guests and sharing some tips with them. I generally don't come knocking on your door in respect of your privacy and rest. Our maid Virginia or Mariela are very trustworthy and will come by to clean your suite a few times in the week. You can request that she come at an earlier or later time of day up until 2pm.

House rules

Smoking is permitted only on exterior private spaces. Not indoors or in common area near pool or staircase.

Noise levels should be kept down after 10pm. No entertaining/parties on the premises.
$40 fee per stay for a pet due on arrival.
Pool hours are between 10 am and 10 pm. Parents must be present at all times with children in/around pool area. Children and yes, adults, must keep voices down when swimming in pool. No yelling and screaming. Respecting other guests.

Response from the owner Unfortunately, the BPM festival was on during your stay in Mid January. Consisting of dance DJs playing at different locations throughout Playa till late at night. Normally its not so noisy and very tolerable.

How do damage deposits work?
