I can't emphasize enough how amazing our stay at the Elements was (Unit 214). We're a young couple with 3 kids (6,4,1.5) so it was important to find a place that balanced our "grown up" tastes while being kid friendly. We hit the jackpot at the Elements!
First, both the owner and the management company were first class- responsive, accommodating, and with the goal of making our stay as pleasant as possible. At Bric, I'm specifically referring to Stephanie and Nikki- thanks to you both!
The unit- clean and well appointed. Kitchen was well stocked (we chose the grocery option upon arrival and so glad we did). A nice surprise is they provide toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc) and the daily maid service was also a nice-to-have in a condo setting- she made our beds, did our dishes and laundry every day! The floor to ceiling windows in the unit allowed us to enjoy the views and of course we spent quite a bit of lounging time on the large outdoor patio.
The pool- incredible. If you have young kids, this is as good as it gets. There are enough areas in the pool that are ~6 inches deep so your little toddlers can safely play in the water without having to go to a separate kiddie pool.
The beach- very nice. I don't know what all the fuss is about- yes there are some locals who post up nearby but it doesn't take away from your experience. We did not smell the sulphur others have talked about and if you want more action, the beach club next door has it and we enjoyed a couple meals there while our kids danced to their techno music!
Location- sure it's a little north of the main town area but we walked into town every day, and when I say we, I'm referring to my 6 and 4 year olds too (our 1.5 year old was in a stroller). So if they can handle it, well, enough said. Besides, whenever you need a taxi, they're readily available right out front.
Thank you again to Bric and the owner of #214- if you're lucky enough to stay here, I hope you enjoy your vacation as much as we did!

Great place to stay! We were close enough to 5th avenue to walk there in the evening and still had our own private pool and beach to get a break from the crowds. Damien, the manager from Bric's was absolutely great. He connected us with the best tours, restaurants, activities and drivers. The house was just like it looked in the pictures. I was glad to be up on the second floor. We had more privacy and a great view of the ocean and pool. We will definitely return to Playa. There was so much to do and one week was not enough for us! Be sure to swim in some cenote's (swim holes) and see the ruins. The people all over Playa were so nice and friendly. We really felt welcome and relaxed. We hope to get this same unit again next spring!

We loved everything about this condo. When we first drove up in the cab in from the airport, we were very excited that would be our home for the next 10 days. The condo boasts a spacious master bedroom, high finish bathrooms with rain showers and excellent, more than ample built-in storage. It is quiet and offers a great vantage point over the Elements complex, including the wonderful pool and adjacent private beach area. The unit is situated next door to the fun Canibal Royal club and is easy walking distance to the restaurants, cafes, shops and nightlife of Fifth avenue. We especially enjoyed evenings out on the massive patio. Damien of Bric rentals provided highly responsive and attentive service. There was almost daily maid service. The condo has been immaculately maintained. We would gladly rent this condo again. Our only gripe was the lack of wifi access from the bedrooms but we understand that is being addressed.

This condo has a wonderful layout. My friend and I rented it because it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and we each wanted our own private space. We were thrilled with the quality of the condo. It is kept in excellent shape and it has really cold air conditioning! It's located several blocks from the main street which we first were disappointed with, but then we discovered it was an asset as the location was very quiet. The concierge service is wonderful. I highly recommend this property!
Thank you so much for your review :) I will email you the $200 USD coupon we spoke about a few days ago!!
Your review is much appreciated and I really hope we can have you with us again :)

We stayed in Unit 214 over our kids' spring break. We are a family of 5 and have a 17 year old son, 15 year old daughter, and 12 year old daughter. The unit was very nice with 2 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. The living space was quite spacious and the swimming pool was nice. It was about a 200 meter walk from our unit to the beach. I would not recommend the Canibal Beach Club which is very close. We were told we were required to purchase 500 pesos worth of beverages and/or food for one lounge chair. At Mamitas and Kool Beach Clubs, about a 10 minute walk up the beach, the cost was 40 to 70 pesos for a chair under an umbrella. No requirement to spend additionally on food and beverages. Damien at Elements was outstanding in arranging excursions for the family and he addressed some minor issues with our unit in a very timely manner. Overall, this was a very positive experience.

My family and I recently stayed in Playa and had a wonderful time. The Apartment is so comfortable, beautifully arranged and with all the appliances, just like being and home but, of course, with a wonderful view of the sea and a beutiful pool. The services were excellent, our apartment was cleaned every day and everything we needed was taken care of. Besides, well, we had a wonderful weather ( no rain, just a few clouds) and the location perfect, we were a few blocks away from downtown (fortunately) because it was so peaceful. I strongly recommend it.
