Welcome to Apartamentos Veranera. We are located in beautiful Playa Grande, just a few miles north of Tamarindo. Playa Grande is one of Guanacaste's most secluded beaches. With more than 3 miles of white sand beach it is great for couples, families, and singles who enjoy untouched nature, harmony and is looking for a relaxing vacation. This is a place where you can wake up in the morning and hear the birds chirping or Howler monkeys and then relax on the beach while viewing one of the most amazing sunsets you have ever seen. It is renowned among surfers for its warm waters and consistent breaks which makes it one of the most celebrated surfing spots in Costa Rica. Steady beach breaks churn out beautifully formed barrels for both long and short boarders and with such a long shoreline, surfers can always find a private wave to ride. The swell in Playa Grande is generally better than in Tamarindo, and always less crowded, making it one of the best surfing destinations in Guanacaste Province.

Grande's three-mile stretch of shoreline is also perfect for sunbathing, exercising, collecting shells and after dark, turtle watching. The beach is part of The Las Baulas National Marine Park, an important nesting site for leatherback sea turtles. From October-March, visitors can join a guided turtle tour to observe the 1500-pound giants nesting on the beach.

Playa Grande is known for it's incredible surfing however, Playa Grande and the surrounding area, has a diversity of outdoor activities,wildlife, natural wonders and culture to offer everyone of all ages and interests.

Apartamentos Veranera is a 4-plex of 2 two bedroom apartments on the ground floor and 2 one bedroom apartments on the first floor nestled on a beautifully landscaped hillside. Only one block to the pristine beach, main surf break and all the local bars/restaurants.

Fully equipped, these units feature cable TV, phone, wireless internet, security safe and are fully furnished with custom made teak furniture. We have also recently installed monitored security cameras on the property and alarm systems in each apartment for our guests added security and safety.

Each apartment has: bedroom(s) with a queen size bed, A/C unit, ceiling fan and built in closet. A fully equipped kitchen with a medium size refrigerator with freezer, electric range with oven, blender, coffee maker, pots and pans, plates and bowls, glasses, coffee cups, cooking utensils and silverware. The kitchen opens up into a dining or living room and has a bathroom with vanity, toilet and shower with ceramic tile. Enjoy your morning coffee or take in one of Playa Grande's amazing sunsets on the private porch with ceiling fan.

Once a week maid services are provided for all long term guests.
