Family of 3, teenage boy, stayed @ Villa Ted for 5 nights & unfortunately only 4 days! Property owner/manager Tim did an excellent job communicating, PayPal, advice,& recommendations. Night time arrival is Not very Fun. Extremely dark in Costa Rica. Very few street lights or lit signs at night. Sunset was at 6pm! We had rental car from Adobe (recommended). Portable Wifi from them @ $10/day. Get it! And still got a lil lost in Playa Hermosa. Beautiful, peaceful small town. Jake, Tims brother came and rescued us. Only About 1/2 miles off course. Internet at Ted is awesome, 3 nice comfy bedrooms each with a bath room and shower! Huge living room with comfy sofa. Stocked kitchen, Didn't use huge dining room. Sat outside with waterfall feature on infinity pool and beach view from b fast till ??? Steep up hill to Villa the last 1/10 mile. 5 min walk to beach. Volcanic so powdery, dark, and soft. Ate at aqua sports. Music and OK, local supermarket less than 5 min drive, small but good. Water, liquor, pastries, bread, meats, veges, avocados, eggs, etc. Master card with Drivers lic worked everywhere! Toured all 5 beaches in area. Even drove to Tamarindo/ flamingo beach-. 45-1hr. Take paved roads. Easier. Playa Octocal for snorkeling and eat at Father Roosters! Last night ate at Casita Marisco near Roberts on beach. Awesome seafood, whole snapper 7400 Colones, cordon Blue great, (ny steak. Awful.) Couldn't cut into it, ordered med well came med rare to rare. Stick to the specials. Enjoy Pura Vida

We are regular visitors to the Playa Hermosa area and decided to rent a house for a family get together in Feb. 2014. We came upon Villa Ted through Homeaway.com and were excited to secure the rental. This property is amazing! I found myself floating in the pool most of the day mesmerized by the view. The unit is well equipped and very comfortable and...did I mention the view? We loved it so much it will now be an annual event for our family (or just the two of us) to return to Villa Ted.
From start to finish Beachfront Properties, and due special mention, their representative Sue Isaacs, were amazing to work with. Communication and customer service was superb! Sue went above and beyond in her service even securing a rental car for a better price than we could ever find on our own.
I recommend this property and this management company for a truly memorable vacation experience.

A great place to stay in Playa Hermosa. Its hilltop location gave us not only a fantastic view where you could hear the waves crashing on the beach, but also quick access to Playa Hermosa. We could walk or drive down the hill to the beach and restaurants, but having our own kitchen and outdoor grill often made us happy to stay home. Sue Isaacks at Beachfront Properties was great in assisting with planning our trip, gave us a lot of tips about local activities, and was responsive to our communications.

WeWe had three couples that traveled together. It was great to all have our own bedroom with adjoining bathrooms! We loved having our own pool and were in it each morning by 7:00am and spent 3-4 hrs each day in or around the pool. The view from the villa was great!! We also loved sitting out in the evening and looking at the stars. It was so dark. The restaurant next door was wonderful and a great help in calling and referring taxis.
Tim greeted up when we first arrived and was a big help in contacting us with Tico Tours (wonderful for excursions! jungle cruise, sunset cruise and extreme adventure).
We had the faucet in one of the bathrooms break off and Guss did send someone out to fix it. The coffee maker didn't work well and ended up breaking in the middle of the week. It never did end up being replaced.
We had a wonderful vacation. The view is fabulous! There were a few things in the villa that need some attention (nails pounded in or trim replaced) it also would have been nice to have the pool vacuumed and refilled while we were there. We had a wonderful week. Thank you!!
