Additional Location Information

Since Manomet is nestled into the beginnings of Cape Cod Bay, from the Beach shores, on a clear day, you can see from the Inner Cape to P-Town. Wake up early to view the sunrise and spend the evening awaiting the Full Moon over the Atlantic with breath taking views, both have the power to make break in even the busiest of feet. Please bring your sketch pads, easels, cameras & journals, all are fully encouraged.

Walking distance to private Manomet Bluffs Beach and Manomet Center, this home offers a unique opportunity for guests to have everything they want and need right w/in a 2-5 minute stroll. From breakfast & coffee, to subs & pizza, to ice cream or wine. The 'corner store' offers 'fill-in' items and Stop & Shop has groceries. Gas, ATM & Library...all w/in .25 mile of the house.

Locally, w/in 1 mile, enjoy our organic farmer's market Thurs & Sat at the Plimoth Plantation & farm stand Sat's at Holme's Farm. There's a bakery, ice cream, sub shops, gourmet coffee shops, breakfast diners, pizza, Italian, Chinese, a great little Thai take-out spot, fresh seafood, a supermarket, beer, wine & a corner store w/in a 5 minute walk of the house. Downtown Plymouth offers a 10 min drive, & Seafood, seafood, seafood! There's actually much more, but check it all out on (website: hidden)

Activities include championship golf courses, antique shops, boutiques, museums, & downtown shows/dancing/concerts. Local History requires you visit the Plimoth Plantation at least once, along with the Mayflower II & Plymouth Rock. Walk the waterfront and you'll find the Capt. John Boats for dinner cruises, deep sea fishing, whale watches & ferry rides to Province Town (better known as 'P-Town'). Town Trollies, Nightly Lantern Tours. If you book early enough, you can plan on having Thanksgiving Pilgrim & Native American style. A sit down dinner hosting a traditional 1620's culinary feast. But hurry, reservations often sell out before end of summer.

We're just 15 min to the Cape Cod Canal and a day spent 'exploring the Cape'. Take a ferry out of Hyannis or Falmouth to the Islands of Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard. Boston is only 50 minutes north, & there's lots to do in BeanTown!
