We just recently returned from a week long stay in Poipu... what a week! Mr. Brown's condo had everything we needed, from kitchenware to beach lounging. Kuhio Shores (where the condo is located) has a washer and dryer available on every floor in case you want to do laundry. We spent a good chunk of our time not even walking down to the beach, but just sitting in our patio loungers watching all the surfers and sea turtles during the day and looking at all the stars at night. You don't have all the light pollution and on a cloudless night... holy cow, it was amazing. Also, on our second day, we set on the patio for an hour watching Bethany Hamilton, the professional surfer! She was literally right outside of our condo! I definitely recommend this condo for everyone else, I thought that all of his descriptions were right on. We were only 5 minutes from a little shopping area with restaurants, groceries, and shaved ice. The airport was right around 30 minutes away, making this an ideal location. If you plan on visiting the north shore at all, give yourself at least an hour and a half. However, the beaches up there are worth the drive. If you want to rent surfboards or anything of that nature, you can walk right next door to the restaurant entrance (There is a really good restaurant 10 feet away). One thing we did learn however, is that very few people on the island have aC! If you get warm when you sleep, just pull the oscillating fan out of the living room and open up all the windows to get the breeze. We left most every window open so we could catch the breeze, and listen to the ocean both during the day and at night.
Thank you Mr. Brown for an awesome experience, and if I make it back to Kauai I definitely want to stay here again!!!

My wife and I stayed in this condo the week before Thanksgiving this year . The ground floor location, the surf view, truely remarkable. The decor was fabulous. We saw as many as 6 Green Sea Turtles at the same time, right outside the condo. I've been coming to Kauai for the past 30 years and this is by far the nicest place I've stayed and look forward to going back.

We've been coming here for years...
The first moment we walked into this condo, our jaws dropped. There, in front of us, was a wall of windows - a bit of grass and then the ocean... as far as the eye could see. The sin rises on the left and sets on the right. This condo is on the ground floor, so I walked right onto the porch and within seconds was at the Beach House, next door, one of the best restaurants in Kauai. The restaurant where everyone goes to watch sunsets. Our sunset... the one we got every night from our little slice of paradise. The condo itself is fabulous with marble in the kitchen and baths and all the top of the line appliances. There's big comfortable furniture and the ambience is very peaceful. I think its the best unit in the building. It's the 2nd one in - so it doesn't get the noise and traffic the unit on the corner gets. Yet it juts out, so the views are unobstructed. We've watched surfing championships from our porch + a stray dolphin and whale here and there. We've been coming for years and will continue to come for years to come.
“Unique and exciting location with incredible views.”

We walk in and the place is imaculate. The Kitchen is preped and the beds are super comfortable. Every convenience is well provided in an atmosphere of awesome Hawaiian fashion. The world class surf breaks are producing classic rides as you lounge inside or out in perfect harmony woth the trade winds. The colors are so spectacular we found ourselves constantly drawn to the 180 degree view with everything from rainbows to catamarans racing across the horizon. Each day brings new and greater surprises and when you think it can't get any better, it just does. The Beach House restaurant is just next door. A five star experience immersed in the flavor and anbiance of the islands and fully open to the ocean as well. There is no down side to this one, you only want more.

Our family enjoyed every minute of this vacation. You can not get better views. The oceanside wall is nearly all glass. Surfers are right out front along with sea turtles.
Our accommodations were perfect. The condo is very comfortable, well appointed with very nice decor, and furnished beautifully. The kitchen is well stocked. Anything you could want is right there, a fabulous restaurant is a very close.
Next door is a wonderful beach with excellent snorkeling.
It was a pleasure working directly with the owner, Don. He has a lovely condo that we highly recommend and will go back to!
