Charming 2 Bedroom-Steps to Ocean-LAST MINUTE DEAL
3/1/15 Note: A single family house has started construction on 3/1/15 on the adjacent lot. As a result, we are discounting the rental rate until 6/13/15. The contractor has assured us that they will not be working weekends, that they will not begin work before 8am, that they usually quit working by 3pm, and that they will curtail loud music. The loud part of the construction should be complete by May. So, if your vacation plans include getting up and getting out to see Kauai, then this is the deal for you! By the time you return from your daily activity, everything should be quiet.

Ahe Lani has everything you need and more. My husband and I spent 5 days at ahe Lani when he ran the full marathon and I ran the half last September. We had never been to Kauai before, so we did some searching on the internet for places to stay. We looked at condos, hotels, and Vrbos and ended picking ahe Lani. We were a little nervous about booking sight unseen, but we had nothing to worry about.
Ahe Lani is the smaller house on a two-home lot. It is set back from the road on a neatly landscaped, lush lawn, lined with plumeria flowers and tropical trees. The house is tastefully decorated in a relaxed and classy island style. When you enter, there is a small foyer to leave your shoes, then you walk into an open kitchen and living room. Down the hall, there is a spacious bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom. A sheltered lanai with a dining table and chairs looks out onto the yard. The windows are covered with wood shutters that open to let in the breeze.
The location is ideal for marathoners -- we walked to the start line in the morning and walked home after the run. But it is just as perfect for families, honeymooners, anyone really. Beaches, shopping, and the fancy hotels in Poipu are all short walks away. The house is on a main road at the edge of a quiet residential neighborhood. After day or two, you feel like this is your home.
In fact, we treated the house like it was ours. We used the stove, the outdoor grill, the dishwasher, the boogie boards and beach towels, washer and dryer. We even broke the blender (the owners were very gracious about it). My sister and her husband stayed 2 nights with their baby, and the house accommodated all of us comfortably. As I write this and think about our time at ahe Lani, those days felt like a dream; we were so comfortable, relaxed, and happy there. It was just perfect for us.

Well let me just tell you, we felt right at home at ahe Lani and look forward to coming back again, probably next September, same time frame! We had gorgeous snorkel and boogie board weather the entire time. The only heavy rain we encountered was while we slept. Your extra amenities are so appreciated, especially the paper towels, plastic wraps and big fat beach towels. All the lamps, fans and electronics worked perfectly.
We do so appreciate the quality and cleanliness of your furniture, bedding and linens. We take great care of our possessions in our own home in Sacramento and took the same care with ahe Lani as well. Your thoughtfulness for our comfort did not go unnoticed. The beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards also were in great shape - thanks! Lots of nice, hot water and water pressure.
We did see a couple of cockroaches, but understand in the tropics they are sometimes hard to handle. One morning at 6:45am we had to speak to the woman renting your front house, her loud conversation woke us up. But all was well after that.
We had friends join us for a Beach House dinner one evening and our experience there was truly superb and special. Feel confident recommending that restaurant to all! They do some amazing things with fish. As always, Keoki's Paradise is good food and well priced, a fun environment. Pizzetta in Koloa was good food but the restaurant itself a little long in the tooth. Delicious Puka Dog for lunch, and twice we shared sandwiches at the deli below Brennecke's and brought them to the beach. Convenient! Finally had Joe's on the Green breakfast Sunday morning, great atmosphere and good food with lots of locals in attendance. Fun.
We took our friends on the cliff hike at Maha'ulepu starting at Shipwrecks Beach and they were awestruck. This is such a wonderful hike that most folks are able to do with sneakers or sturdy sandals.
Thank you again for providing a quality rental home. We will recommend the ahe Lani to everyone.

If you have four people who want an excellent location close to Baby Beach and a very short drive to Poipu Beach State Park, then you will love this home. We particularly loved the comfortable beds with separate baths off of each bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area is very comfortable. I spent lots of time on the deck! We came with my brother and sister-in-law and would definitely, without question, rent this home again.

We enjoyed the home as if it were our own. It was comfortable, quiet (even though it's on a busy street), clean and well appointed. We appreciated the kind and prompt response to our questions and needs. It was so great to have extra everything already in the house.

It is absolutely a wonderful house in a great location. The accommodations in the house are like a 4-star resort. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location for getting around the island. We walked to fabulous snorkeling at Lawaii beach and watched shooting stars at baby beach. We also really enjoyed walking to get coffee in the morning at the Kukui’ula Village Retail Center.
