Description

This fine contemporary (mid-terrace) home with level access has a vaulted ceiling to the first floor open plan lounge / dining / kitchen area creating a spacious family environment. The hillside views from here can be enjoyed from comfy sofas, or seats and table on the large south west facing balcony, enabling you to relax and enjoy all weathers. The woodburner warms up even the chilliest evenings, and for warmer days the leafy decking area with charcoal BBQ will draw you outside. The restful décor throughout reflects the colours of sea, sand, sky and hillside, complimented by the pictures and other decorations.

The house comprises of a master bedroom with en-suite, 1 king, a single bed with a pull-out truckle plus a family bathroom.

Talland Bay lies between Looe and Polperro and is one of the most memorable and secluded coves along the coastline of South Cornwall. The quiet hamlet of Talland consists of a scattering of houses and cottages and an ancient church, away from the busy tourist areas to the north and west. The Bay community, set on a secluded hillside with direct access to the shore, is a haven of tranquillity, so rarely found in such an accessible location. It is a perfect location for walking, fishing and exploring the coast - or just relaxing and enjoying the views. The Beach It has three small beaches flanked by a rocky foreshore and a beautiful undeveloped coastline and is sheltered and safe for swimming.

The upside down houses are a brilliant change from the norm and the open plan kitchen/living areas are always popular with families who have little ones. It's great to know that you felt safe at Talland, we pride ourselves on being a safe family site, and the area in general is a very friendly, quiet one. We're sorry about the wine glasses, we do try and replace all broken glasses in the houses, we may have run out of spares on the week you visited... it sounds like the guests who were in the week before you may have had a few accidents! Your recommendation of walking the coastal path is one we encourage most of our guests to do as well (but like you said, it wouldn't be enjoyable with a buggy) we recommend going with small children in a baby/child carrier which makes the walk a bit easier. It is a lovely stretch of coast which we're happy you got to enjoy. Thank you once again for such a great review, we hope you do manage to come back and visit soon. How do damage deposits work?
