Additional Location Information

Beach Cove Cottage is located in the tiny picturesque, fishing village of Port Medway .

Overlooking a sheltered cove, the view is everything you would hope for in a Nova Scotia Cottage rental: traditional wooden docks, brightly painted fishing boats, colourful buoys, calm waters and endless blue skies.

Port Medway is about half way between Bridgewater and Liverpool. Liverpool , once the privateering capital of Nova Scotia, is full of stately, meticulously renovated sea merchants' and captains' residences from times long gone. Liverpool is the home of the County's historic museum and provides opportunities for fine dining, grocery shopping and some browsing through galleries and bookshops. Bridgewater is a larger town with big box retailers, movie theatre and restaurants.
Lockeport , Shelburne , Lunenburg , Mahone Bay and Chester are all within easy day trip distance.

Closer to home, there are plenty of beaches to be explored: Beach Meadows on the outskirts of Liverpool, Summerville Beach, a little further along the Lighthouse Route towards Shelburne, Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct in Port Joli; and the always picture perfect Carters Beach in Port Mouton.
