My first impression was that we must be in the wrong place - it felt too nice to be a rental I found on the internet. Perfect for two of us with comfortable living room, bed-, bathroom and kitchen. We relaxed on the back deck, wandered the neighborhood and felt right at home. There's a Safeway nearby where so we could cook in the well-stocked kitchen. Easy access to the MaX, streetcars and buses, too.
We've stayed in other places in Portland, but this was the best.
P.S. A side trip up the Columbia River Gorge on the old Hwy 30 to Hood River is well worth it.

We had a great time staying at this pet friendly house and can't wait to come back again next year. The whole process from start to finish with Tijana was perfectly organized and professional! The Kitchen was very nice and open allowing us to prepare full meals and the grill in the backyard did a great job. The backyard was a nice space to relax with the Koi pond and deck with seating while the rest was good for my son to play around. The bathroom was nice and we always had hot water in the antique claw tub. The neighborhood is the best spot in Portland and so close to the Portland Saturday Market, la Fitness, Whole Foods, Starbucks, PSU Farmers Market, and Downtown.
Portland has some of the best non-chain restaurants anywhere. For the foodies, here's what I recommend.
• Pine State Biscuits
• Tabor Tavern
• Jimmy John's (sandwiches)
• Por Que No's
• Mississippi Pizza
• Ruby Jewel Ice Cream
• Salt & Straw Ice Cream
I highly recommend staying here and enjoying Portland for all it has to offer.

Very comfortable and clean. This was a perfect place for us and our two small dogs. Great location, close to city center and/or your choice of many restaurants. Walking to the store is easy as Safeway is only two blocks away. We'll be back again.

This was the perfect place for our family of four (including a dog) to land during our transition back to Portland. It was clean, spacious, well-appointed, centrally located, and had great atmosphere. The hosts were also very welcoming. I highly recommend this to fellow travelers.

This apartment was: a) beautiful and comfortable and b) located in a fabulous neighborhood. The landlords offered help but were not intrusive (they live upstairs).
The kitchen was well stocked with spices, oils, and other basics to make cooking-in seamless. Parking was easy, external noise was non-existent to minimal, and the ceilings were 10-12 feet high.
This books up well in advance (we wanted to stay longer), so act quickly.

I travel to PDX 6+ times a year and have hotel fatigue. Tijana's rental is a great and affordable alternative to the downtown hotels and I will use it freqently. It is close to most of the east side foodie restaurants and in a great neighborhood with lots of pedestrian activity at night due to its safety.

well you won't read any complaints in this review...only accolades.
we had a wonderful weekend at Tijana and Milos's house. it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. you can tell the house has been lovingly cared for and well maintained. the location is perfect for exploring Portland and parking was not a problem at all.
Tijana and Milos made us (including our labrador) feel quite welcome and they were the perfect hosts...there if we needed them, but not intrusive.
Our only wish was that we could stay longer. But we will be back some day for sure. Hopefully sooner than later!

We came from living in the California Sierra mountains to experience city living and visit our son. We chose the perfect home to rent and location was just what we wanted. We walked to restaurants and shopping, drove or took the Max rail line into city center,Portland. Milos and Tijana were helpful and made us feel like it was our home and not a temporary rental. We stayed 30 days and it was not long enough.
The duplex was quiet, easy to keep clean, and equipped with everything we needed. My husband and I highly recommend this rental.

I felt right at home at this cozy bottom floor of an old house. The decor was tasteful but not cluttered at all- meaning you can feel like it's *your* home instead of someone else's.
- Owners easily contacted with email and phone
- Walkable, 10 min to tram, 15 min to convention center, 5 min to food
- Nice touches: bottle of wine, tea, sugar, bath products
- Great furnishings and decor
a great value - why stay in a hotel when you can have a home?

I came to Portland from California, awaiting the birth of a new granddaughter. This apartment was a welcome "retreat" from the activities surrounding my stay. It is in a lovely neighborhood that is conveniently located for travel to other parts of the city. I enjoyed the convenience of having a huge claw foot tub to relax in, as well as the well stocked kitchen and comfortable bedroom. Tijana and Milos are helpful and congenial hosts. All in all, the apartment was a delightful addition to an eventful trip, culminating with the birth of our adorable new granddaughter!

We stayed at the apartment for five nights and we absolutely loved it. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped with all the necessities for an enjoyable stay. The garden proved to be the real highlight, with its comfy lounge chairs, huge barbecue grill and calming fish pond in its center. Highly recommended!

We live in Italy and were visiting our friends in Portland, or. During our visit we stayed in this charming and beautifully decorated apartment that far exceeded my expectations! We loved this place; it's cozy, well kept, with a lovely private garden. A wonderful retreat in a great city. The apartment had everything we needed, the bed is very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked, with great coffee, wine, and other staples. Very nice neighborhood, close to public transport, close to good restaurants...
Tijana and Milos are awesome hosts and they added lots of the special touches throughout the entire space. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home - we can't wait until our next visit!
