Villa Gaia terraces and sea view , Positano center
Beautiful villa situated in a strategic and panoramic position in the very famous town of Positano, one of the most charming towns on the Amalfi coast. In the characteristic narrow alleys and squares, one can find many conveniently located novelty shops. The villa, one of the oldest structures in the village, is set on a cliff and has been built over three floors, laid out on terraces overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea where the beautiful islands of Capri and Ischia are located which can easily be visited, by public transportation and or private excursions.
Ideally located with very peaceful surroundings, its terraces are fully equipped and are exposed to an enchanting sea view. Convenient public parking is only 100 meters away.
The main beach is 150 m away and is reached by descending one of the town’s most typical and picturesque staircases. Within a radius of 100 m there are various shops and famous bars and restaurants.
Upper level of the house: 1 double bedroom with private bath including shower and balcony, 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower and a small terrace.
Mid level section: entrance/living room, 1 double bedroom with access to a terrace(about 60 sq. meters), with ocean view, 1 bathroom with bathtub and access to a terrace.
Lower level: living/dining room (satellite TV) with access to a terrace, kitchen(oven, dishwasher, washing machine) with access to a terrace, 1 small single bedroom with basic furnishings, 1 bathroom with hip bath. The three floors are connected by an internal staircase as well as by an outside staircase which flanks one side of the house and gives access to the top floor bedrooms and the main level. The main entrance to the villa is situated in the central part and is reached by an outside staircase.
Public parking in Positano is nearly impossible. A convenient parking lot which I usually recommend is the Milano parking facility. Depending upon the car, the daily fee should be about 16-20 Euros. You may instruct him to drive you and your baggage to the connecting stairs to the villa(70 steps). Once there, you will find Mrs. Maria who is in charge of the house cleaning. The parking attendant will handle parking your car. Please call the attendant should you need your car and it will be brought to you whenever necessary at no additional charge.
You may choose to carry your own baggage or ask Mrs. Maria for porter assistance.
Expected arrival time is between 5PM and8PM. However, should you arrive in advance, you may leave your baggage at the villa, but please speak to Maria, as she will advise you whether she will need more time or not for cleaning purposes.
Prices are in Euros and on a per week basis from Saturday to Saturday.
A cash deposit of 500 Euros will be required upon arrival and will be refunded at time of departure; an inspection of the property will take place in case of any damage.
Check-In time is from 14:00 to 17:30, Check-Out time is by 10:AM.
Extra cost to paid on site
Final cleaning € 150

One of Italy’s most well known and picturesque tourist towns, Positano is also famous for its highly original fashion clothing in distinctive fabrics sold in many of the charming boutiques. You need to visit the little town on foot to appreciate its pretty narrow streets, pastel-coloured houses and endless steps carved out of the rock.
From here you can easily reach Amalfi , Sorrento , Capri Island , Pompei ruins and Naples

This was a lovely little villa in a superb location, over the ferry on the "wedding cake" hill right next to the Hotel Miramare, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Sireneuse Islands. The house is divided on three levels, with three terraces with superb views. The house, while compact, sleeps seven people, and since there are four bathrooms each bedroom can be considered en suite. There is a washing machine and clothesline on the bottom terrace and the kitchen is amply stocked with basic utensils and appliances. The cleaning lady, Maria, can also come in and cook meals if engaged to do so, and Marco comes over early in your stay to have coffee with you and answer questions, and he can arrange excursions to a variety of interesting places. There is no air conditioning but there are fans in each bedroom and usually a cool night breeze from the sea. On top of all this, the villa is not expensive, and our two main thoughts coming away were that we would come back, and that the villa was on the whole quite a nice bargain all around.
