Franklin Farms and Vineyard/ Vacation House/B&B

Located in the Mark Twain National forest this 3 br 2 bath 3010 sq foot house is surrounded by all nature has to offer. The house sits in the middle of the 100 acre farm, which has a creek running through it and 2 small ponds. A nice place to get away from it all. To kick back and relax or to explore the wonders of nature.

This 100 acre farm's history dates back to the late 1800's with the land deed being signed by Ulysses S Grant. The kitchen and dining are constructed with logs from the original homestead. Vaulted ceilings show off the hand hewn beams cut from trees on the farm.

The perfect place for those who like to explore to outdoors ...Read more

We are located 10 miles west of Potosi, 25 miles east of Steelville and 65 miles south of St Louis. Even though the our location is remote there are many activities just a short drive from here.
Fourche Valley Golf Course, Edg-Cliff Winery, YMCA of the Ozarks, Floating on the Huzzah and Courtois rivers, just to name a few.
P&L;, a small country store, offers deli meats and made to order pizza, is just a few miles away.
Once you get here you may not want to leave. The quite, peaceful atmosphere is consuming. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and just relax or get outside and enjoy the outdoors. The house sits in the middle of the Mark Twain National forest on a 100 acre farm. There is a small farm pond and a spring-fed creek close by. Construction of the vineyard was started in 2012 with just over and acre of grapes being grown at this time. We hope to bottle wine after the next growing season.
