Description

The Barn offers bright and characterful self catering accommodation with traditional features, ideal for a couple, possibly with a child. The Barn has been decorated and appointed to reflect our wish to provide a warm stay with up to date appliances.

With fully equipped kitchen including washer dryer, pump espresso coffee machine, open plan living / dining room with sofa and open staircase.

And in the first floor, double bedroom with kingsize bed or twin beds plus guest bed recommended for a child with view over Wheal Grey Lake.

Weekly Changeovers are generally a Saturday however; we can sometimes be flexible depending on the time of year.Short breaks are welcome - depending on time of year and availability.Rentals are inclusive of bedding, bed linen, towels including beach towels and all utilities.A generous welcome pack includes tea, milk, bread etc. No smoking within the Barn.Internet ShoppingWe will accept your internet delivery whilst you are travelling down to us and unpack your shopping into the larder, fridge and freezer ready for your arrival.

Tresowes Green Cottage Barn offers bright and comfortable accommodation. The owners have used a great deal of thought and consideration for the comfort & enjoyment of guests which is apparent in use of quality & tasteful furniture & soft furnishings throughout.

Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen; open plan living / dining room with sofa and open staircase.

First floor: Double bedroom with zip and link kingsize bed or 2 small single beds plus a guest bed only suitable for a child, with views over Wheal Grey Lake, Bathroom with bath and shower attachment.

Cleaning/towels/linen: High quality Egyptian cotton sheets, towels and bathrobes are provided as well as beach towels. These are changed weekly or more frequently by request. Cleaning is done before arrival and weekly thereafter.

Amenities: Hob/oven, washer dryer, fridge/freezer; microwave; tv; Netflix; wifi; ipod station, central heating; garden; garden room; barbecue area; parking,Cot or additional single bed available on request.

The gardens are large and being further developed. There are a number of seating areas with a lovely barbecue area and heated garden room overlooking the lake. Guests are welcome to relax on the foreshore of the lake. Fishing in the lake is possible by purchasing a guest ticket to the angling syndicate available from the owners. Parking is available on site. There is secure storage for bikes and facilities for rinsing and drying wetsuits.

The most convenient way to visit West Cornwall is by car. The closest train station is in Penzance and cars can be hired next to the station. Bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from the property offering transport to different destinations. Cycling is very popular too.

“Beautiful place that mixes a high quality stay with a friendly relaxed attitude”

This was our second stay at The Barn. As I got out of the car on arrival I could feel the tension melt away. The garden is a delight, beautiful to walk around and look at but, with just a little care, a great place for kids and dogs to play. I love the views out over the lake. The Barn is small but well kitted out to high standards. The location is good for beaches and coastal path walks. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend it without hesitation.
