“Wonderful visit to Prague” We loved everything about our stay in In the Residence Rybna. The staff was so helpful, from the time of booking to airport pickup, to checkin and afterward. The location was ideal for our visit. We were in walking distance to everything we wanted---sight seeing, the Karlova Bridge, the Prague Castle, the Jewish quarter and Cemetary, dining and entertainment. The tram and subway were both close by and easy to access. We definitely recommend these accommodations and will stay there again on our next visit to Prague.

“a pleasant stay” - located not far away from central train station. Nearest tram and metro stations are just about 3-5 mins walk from the apartment. - Apartment is exactly what are shown in photos. Everything basic and yet sufficient and clean. - Wi-Fi connection free of charge. Basic cooking utensils available too. - The owner Dennis was very friendly and helpful in answering the queries we had about our itinerary. - Would recommend this to our friends.

“Highly recommend” I would highly recommend this apartment. We stayed here for 3 nights in December, 5 adults and one baby and it was perfect for us. The location is great, only 5 mins walk to old town square and the apartment itself is fantastic and very well equipped. The photos do not do it justice! The only one drawback is that the lift stops on the floor below and you need to climb the last flight of stairs. It wasn't a problem for us as we were able to carry the buggy up the stairs, but anyone with reduced mobility should consider this. Rached was great to deal with, any queries were answered promptly. We were collected at the airport and dropped to the apartment, where someone met us with the keys. Everyone we dealt with was extremely helpful. I would stay here again without question.

“Perfect location, excellent management.” We stayed in the apartment for a week. The apartment was very clean and cleaning service was daily. The location is perfect - 5 minutes walk from central square. The management is the best we've seen so far, very responsive.

“Great stay” This place was excellent. A person was available to pick us up at the train station and drive us to the office to check in and then take us straight to the apartment. Check in was smooth and quick, and the front desk guy was helpful, answering all questions. He even met us at the apartment to give us a tour of the place. The apartment was big enough for the three of us. The place was also very clean. The TV was difficult to use, and most of the channels were not in English. That was okay, because we didn't spend much time watching TV. The location was excellent and close to the city center and near all the major sights. Everything was walkable. There was a grocery store on Narodni (one of the nearby main streets) that had affordable stuff. The place was also quiet enough for a restful night even when our apartment faced the street. The area felt pretty safe at night. Nonetheless, it is the city, so I would recommend traveling in groups if you can. The staff was always helpful. I remember having trouble with the shower, and called the front desk about it. The guy came pretty quickly to help solve the issue, and this was in the middle of the night. The next day, a maintenance guy came to repair the issue. It helps that the front office is like a 3min walk away and that the place is manned 24hrs a day. Check out was just as smooth as check in; actually easier because all we had to do is call to arrange for a driver to the train station and then leave the keys behind. So overall, the stay was excellent, and I would return to use that place again.

“Perfect” The apartment looks exactly like the photos. No surprises at all. The location is perfect...a 05 min walk to the city center where you can book free walking tours and guided tours. Also very close to the Jewish Quarter. The apt Manager monika arranged for a car to meet us at the airport. Petr was our driver, very nice, speaks great English and has a large, clean sedan car. Monika met us at the apt and got us settled. The apt is very large and comfortable...it was so nice to come back after a day of touring. We ate breakfast every day at the apt and cooked our evening meals twice in the modern kitchen. Large fridge and dishwasher. The apt is located on a quiet cobblestone street and is very, very secure and safe. 3 of us were traveling together...all women...so safety was key for us. We rented both apts which was great for 3 of us. There were only 3 towels and no wash cloths so bring your own washcloths. Stackable washer and dryer so we were able to do laundry. Beds were comfy. If you like to have a "couch throw" or blanket, bring your own as there is no additional bedding provided. We planned a day trip to Cesky Krumlov and hired Petr as our driver arranged by Monika. He was with us for 12 hrs and it costs $85 pp. Very worth the money as the trains and bus system made us a little nervous do to the language. He even drove us to a large supermarket as the grocery store around the corner from the apt is more like a mini market. I woul definitely stay in this apt again. It was perfect.

“Great apartment with cool decor, great ammenities, and a lot of” Our family of five, with children aged 16, 18, and 20, found this apartment to be the perfect set up for us. The space was huge and designed beautifully. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating in. The bathrooms were very nice. The extras, such as the billiard table, Ipod docks, big flat screen tvs, and more made it fun to be there. All of the aC units worked very well and the roof top deck had an interesting view. The walk up 4 levels (no elevator) kept us active, but it was well worth it for the view, etc. Also, that section of the city is very quiet but a very easy walk to all of the bars, restaurants, shopping, and sites in Prague. The owner, Vladimir, was very helpful also. We would recommend this apt. to anyone who could walk up and down the 4 flights!

“Prague stay with kids” The apartment was fantastic. Away from the noise of old town square, but close enough to walk with my two kids aged 9 & 11. There are great restaurants close by. The area and accommodation felt safe and secure. Best of all the office was open 24 hrs and were fantastic at assisting with information on places to visit and take kids using local transport and great tips on being in Prauge with the kids. I highly recommend residence Karolina and Prague City apartments

“I want to return!” My husband and I spent a most magical week after Christmas in Prague centered at this wonderful Old Town apartment. It was extremely well furnished, complete with plates, glasses, nice pots and pans (Yes, we cooked!) coffeemakers, and even plenty of paper goods, and extremely clean. The bathroom was magical with the window view to the city below--great shower and the luxury of a washer and dryer! The heated towel racks were wonderful especially in the cold weather. The bedroom was large with plenty of closet and storage space, but more important, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The design gave a feeling of spaciousness which is helpful when you spend more than a day or two. The living area was furnished elegantly but comfortably, and we felt very safe and at home. The location was perfect for us. Easy access to the Old Town Square and to the bus/tram stations, grocery stores and bakeries, yet tucked away so that there was not a lot of street noise. We had no problems with the Pub next door. Even at New Years they never disturbed us in any way. They actually helped us one night when we were in immediate need for a native speaker! They even let us bring a carafe of wine and glasses over to the apartment! The service from Bohemian estates was excellent. I didn't bring a European phone so communicated via email, and they responded in a very timely manner and with great help on the few occasions I needed some assistance. They arranged for a driver right from the airport and offered to help us with our departure arrangements. Special thanks for allowing our daughter to be at the apartment to greet us when we arrived! I would use the company again, and really wish I were still there. Thank you for a marvelous stay.

About Prague

People travel to Prague from all over the world to tour the legendary castles of the city and wander its narrow romantic streets hemmed in by breathtaking baroque, gothic, and renaissance architecture. While you're here, see some of finest art in the western world, sample the work of Prague's famous monastic breweries, explore the charming riverside parks and take in the local ambiance. It's possible to see the most important sights in just a day or two, but if you slow down and take your time, you'll find additional hidden treasures often overshadowed by the grandest of the clocks, castles, and magnificent art galleries.

Here are a few additional suggestions of things to do in Prague:

  • Take a guided walking tour: A guided tour can provide some perspective on the city's 1000 years of culture and history. It's a great to find the hidden gems on romantic side streets and appreciate Prague's extraordinary architecture.
  • St. Vitus Cathedral: Visit St. Vitus Cathedral in the heart of Prague's castle complex for a beautiful glimpse of the cities artistic and spiritual heritage.
  • Take a trip to the Prague Zoo: The Prague Zoo is a wonderful place to take children, with miles of walking trails around natural habitat enclosures.
  • See the Old Town: Rest your feet at one of the cafes in the Old Town Center Square, also called Stare Mesto, and have a look at the tenth century astronomical clock.
  • Lobkowicz Palace: Visit this tiny art museum near the palace complex and see the incredible works collected by the Lobkowicz family.
  • Visit the Vysehrad National Cultural Monument: Take a stroll to this historic lookout point and enjoy stunning views of the city of Prague from above.

When you arrive in Prague, you'll need a place to stay. No matter what season you decide on for your trip, you'll be able to find a vacation rental within reach of everything you need. Book an apartment or condo in the heart of the city, or take advantage of Prague's excellent public transportation system and find a summer house in the charming suburbs just beyond the city limits. If you're feeling especially romantic, rent an old-world villa in the surrounding countryside and watch the sun set over the city every night.

Best Location, Luxury Apartment at Old Town Square
Great spacious apartment-moments from Old Town Square

We loved this apartment, very spacious and light - 2 bathrooms and bedrooms separated by living areas. We visited while the Christmas Markets were on and each evening we would leave our (quiet) apartment and come out to the bustling old square which had a gorgeous Christmas tree, lights, markets, horse and carriages - just magic really! Highly recommend apartment if you can manage the stairs (didn't bother us). During the Christmas week we would come out our front door to be greeted by a gent playing a bugle in the top of the astronomic Clock (you can see the top of the clock from front door). Highly recommendsee more

Awesome Prague accommodation

This apartment was awesome. I stayed here with 4 of my friends & we had a fantastic trip! Prague is beautiful with so many different things to see & do. The apartment was warm, large & amazing. The photos just don't do it justice! It is in a great location situated in a quiet street in a lovely neighbourhood just a short walk from the old square & the many tourist attractions. The Irish bar next door with their log burning fire was very welcoming & the food was lovely! There is also a convenience shop, a deli & other shops on the small square at the end of the street which was very useful. I would highly recommend staying here. Communication & efficiency from my first enquiry through the booking process & during our stay was excellent! One point to be mindful of is the 5 flights of 132 steps (yes I counted them all) to get to the apartment which may be problematic for the less able but if you can manage them it's well worth the hike! Thank you.see more

Happy Holiday in Prague

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for Christmas 2013. What a treat. The apartment is beautiful and charming. The location is perfect. As we walked around the city we were constantly shocked at how close all the sites we were to the apartment. Monika was fantastic! Super helpful with the apartment and even left us with homemade Christmas cookies (which were excellent). She also arranged transportation to and from the train station, even though our train leaving the city left at 5 a.M.see more

New Year joy in beautiful city

We (4 over 65s!) stayed in The White Swan Double Luxury apartment for four nights over New Year - what an absolute joy it turned out to be. From the start everything went like clockwork - picked up by Petr at the airport, meeting Monika at the apartment and the apartment itself had absolutely everything we needed (Monika even left a laptop for our use). The apartment is very spacious with two large double bedrooms (and 6' beds) two lovely bathrooms and a large lounge and kitchen. The location of the apartment is unbeatable set in a quiet cobbled street with no through road for traffic and not much more than 5 minutes walk to Old Town Square. Many restaurants and cafes very close by, a mini market on the street corner and a brilliant Irish bar directly opposite! We ate in some excellent restaurants and cafes all in walking distance and covered many miles visiting all the historical monuments. After a concert in the Municipal House on New Years Eve we soaked up the atmosphere in the city then spent a couple of hours in the Irish bar across the street which was wonderful - live music, friendly people - and then walked to Old Town Square for midnight fireworks and celebrations - what a crush but a great atmosphere. On New Year's Day everyone gathers on the wonderful Charles Bridge and the embankment to watch the official firework display at 6 o'clock giving families the chance to enjoy them. We ended our four day stay with the most fantastic lunch at Cafe Savoy across the river - the food was amazing. Best to book if you plan to go there. All together it was a brilliant trip, the apartment was superb and the city of Prague was absolutely wonderful.see more
