The apartment was beautifull. well presented, clean and fresh. The kitchen area was very quaint indeed. Wonderfull bedroom with doors opening onto balcony. with spectacular views over the coast. The owner could not speak english but was very sweet, kept bringing use little Italian dishes to try, :-) Her daughter-in-law, introduced the guests to the apartment, and could speak good english and was very helpfull and friendly> I would reccommend this apartment for 2, infact we will be returning in the near future.

This is our second stay at Casa Misia, and Signora anna was as wonderful and accommodating as ever. She is ever hospitable, kind, warm and generous. We look forward to our next vacation and opportunity to stay at Casa Misia. Also, this is a great location, both the apartment itself and the town of Praiano. All necessary services are nearby and easy to get to and from the nearby touristy locations. The hike in the "Path of the Gods" is a must.

The landlord, Anna, lives right downstairs and is very gracious and ther if you need her but leaves you alone. She doesn't speak English but her daughter-in-law, also anna, lives in town, speaks English and can be reached by phone anytime.
The little apartment is fabulous! It has everything you could want with a beautiful modern bathroom, large comfortable bed and an awesome, efficient kitchen that is entirely in an armoire.
The most incredible thing is the terrace, which you see in some of the pictures of Casa Misia. We have pictures blown up, framed and hanging in our house taken from that terrace.

We were in Italy for two weeks and our week spent at Casa Misia in Praino was by far the highlight. The apartment is exactly as it's depicted on the site and so clean. Great bathroom. Just the right size for two people and very charming - even the "kitchen in an armoire" was fun. The terrace is the best part though; very spacious and pretty with killer views...we sat there for hours, watching the weather and the water and the lights come up in Positano at night. Why stay in $$$ Positano when you can stay in Prainao and be able to look at lovely Positano from your own uncrowded, un-touristy spot?
Cafe Bar del Sole is right up the hill on the main street and has a nice terrace for breakfast every morning. A friendly grocery store - tiny but with everything you need - is down the street. Buses come often. The church and church piazza are beautiful and nearby (nice to hear the bells).
I can't recommend this place more highly, especially as the owners, Anna and Anna, were so warm and wonderful to us. Trust me, just go!

Service was excellent - landladies (jr and sr) were
both very pleasant and accommodating.
Apt was very clean, airy and pleasant.
Groceries can be had very nearby.
Beach was a bit of a trek - uphill on the way back
could be tough for those not in shape.

This place was stunning--absolutely the most amazing vacation experience of my life! Everywhere you turn you see a pristine view of the ocean, or captivating views of the cascading Italian mountainside behind you.
I would stay here for a month if I could! I highly recommend for anyone, as long as you're willing to walk many stairs ;-)

My husband and I stayed at Casa Misia for the first 10 days of our honeymoon. It was truly a wonderful experience. The town of Praiano is quaint with a small village feel. The villa was perfect - just enough room to enjoy yourself and not feel cramped. A nice bathroom, sufficient kitchen, spacious bedroom with great closet space and a breathtaking view from a marble-floor balcony. The favorite part of our stay were cool nights on our balcony where we enjoyed local cheese and wine. Of course, the hospitality of our landlady wsa also wonderful. On the last night of our stay, she brought us vegetables grown from her garden to eat. How fresh and delicious! We truly cannot say anything bad about our stay at Casa Misia. We loved it and would definately do it again!

Casa Misia was a very basic little apartment, but it had a nice terrace with a wonderful view and the owners were very kind. There really isn't a living room or kitchen to speak of, but it's a great deal considering a hotel room with a similar view and terrace would probably cost a great deal more. The town of Praiano is much more charming and peaceful than touristy Positano, but still close enough for day trips to all the tourist spots.
