but that is the best way to describe our month long stay in Italy. We flew into Rome&toured; the city.We went from Rome to Naples via train. A driver drove us to Praiano. Our villa served as home during our stay.We travelled with another couple so we had specifics with regards to our accommodations and those were met.Praiano is a small community on the amalfi Coast. The pace is very calm, slow &laid; back. The Praiano tourist population is smaller than the other cities, making this the ideal place to get to know the "real" Italy.A small, well stocked market was a short walk from the villa. They stocked excellent local produce;excellent meats &cheeses;&well; stocked wine cellar.Pack your walking shoes.Bus service is good for local transportation. Our sightseeing included Praiano,Positano,Amalfi,Ravello,Tremonti,Sorrento,Capri&Pompeii. We; ate wonderful food and pasteries&exceptional; wines.Ravello was a beautiful town with interesting shops, lovely gardens&magnificent; views. Our driver then took us high in the mts.to Tramonti to the Tenuta San Francesco Winery. We had dinner and a wine tasting. This was a highlight of our trip. One day we boarded an excursion boat&toured; the waters surrounding Capri. The boat was very comfortable&enjoyable.Capri; is beautifubut a tourist trap. Food is expensive¬ good quality.Due to cruise ship traffic,it is crowded. Not enjoyable. We met many wonderful people. Our thanks to the staff at SummerInItaly helping us find superb accommodations.Everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful&informative. The; website is easy to navigate, has helpful information&fabulous; pictures. If you have the opportunity to do something like this.Do it!Make sure you take a camera to capture the memories.

The accomodations at Casa Giuliana in Praiano,Italy was exactly what we read about and saw from the photos at Summers in Italy. The apartment was as comfortable as our own home. Everything was available, it was extremely clean. Location was unbelieveable, but note that while staying anywhere along the amalfi Coast, you will be expected to climb/walk up hills and stairs. This location was close to the bus stop, as well as the local grocer/supermarket allowing us to prepare our own meals most of the time and enjoy the view. The town is quaint and quiet and had several fine restaurants to choose from. I would stay again and hopefully will get the opportunity in the future to visit this beautiful part of Italy!

The Casa Guiliana met and exceeded our expectations. The size was wonderful, the view spectacular, the cleanliness impeccable and the air conditioning much appreciated!! The walk down to the beach is not for the weak of heart or legs! We would highly recommend this villa for two couples or a small family.
