Description

The main house consist of three bedrooms and two bathrooms.The main bedroom has a double bed with en suite bathroom.The second bedroom has two single beds ,and the third bedroom has a double bed. There is a second bathroom for the third and second bedroom.All the bedrooms have air conditioners and closets.The main bedroom has a safety deposit box. Note that the window in the third bedroom does not open onto the outside of the House and this bedroom will ONLY be available when there are more than four guests.

In the downstairs there is an open living room that opens onto the terrace.There is a fully equipped kitchen and a utility room.There is a downstairs toilet.

Attached to the house is The Annex which is in itself another apartment that would accommodate a couple.It has its own bedroom with a view of the sea and the garden,an en suite bathroom on the upstairs,and downstairs is an open plan living room and kitchenette.There is also a little outside patio for the guest in the annex who wishes to eat outside.

There are two beaches on either side of the property within walking distance.There is also a small restaurant within a 100 metres of the property,however should guest want to be eating out we recommend that they rent a car.

There is a newly opened grocery shop in Anse La Blague.

There is a bus service that passes close to the property five times during the day and this bus goes to the airport.

Response from the owner The client should not have been surprised to find flies and mosquitoes! Seychelles is a tropical destination and the House is surrounded by natural beauty including many trees.The stove is not broken but one of the four rings in the ceramic hob has failed,The doors to the House are not old and there really is no space for small animals to enter! Insects can come in easily through open windows. The wi-fi was offered freely and there was no restriction in its use, although the client was asked not to download films: this advice was ignored and over 25 Gb was used by the clients in a very short time. I thank Mr Kollner for his observations.

Response from the owner The problem with the hairy caterpillars has affected many tourism establishments and is regretted.There is no easy solution, apart from cutting down trees. The third bedroom is rather small but is air-conditioned and the absence of a window onto the exterior is unfortunate but cannot be changed. The description on the web-site will be amended to reflect this.

“A nice house with wonderful host”

Host and his wife were very helpful with accommodating us. They gave us lots of tourist advice, including boat packages to different islands around Praslin. The area around was nice and quiet, with a warm and peaceful atmosphere and we had no trouble getting around as the area was very convenient and relaxing. The house had everything we needed, like wifi, hot water, a stove, cooking utensils, toiletries, etc. They even helped us wash our clothes and hang them outside our house, which was always kept clean and tidy everyday. This is overall a great place to stay if you want to have a relaxing but fun time in Praslin.

“Want to stay in quite place - here is”

I spent one week in the House with friends.The place is scrupulously clean and we had everything we needed.The location is quiet and the House is surrounded by some splendid trees.The two beaches, which we walked to, were ideal for snorkelling and we had these beaches to ourselves.We rented a Jeep from John which proved to be a sensible option because shops are a bit far away and there are not many buses.

“Relaxing holiday in a stunning part of the world.”

The House is very clean and comfortable - a real Home away from Home. It is located in a lovely peaceful and unspoilt part of the island.The two nearby beaches were always deserted when we went and they were perfect for our small children to play in the shallow waters.There was also, a large well-kept garden in which they could play. The accommodation represents extremely good value for money.

The House is a great accommodation. Very well equipped, clean, peaceful. The Hosts are tremendous people. Honest, communicative and attentive to my stay. I would not hesitate to recommend the House and would certainly come back.
