Welcome to HALE KOLEPA KAHUA MAKAI, "House on the golf course near the sea". This spacious 1300 sq. ft. 1 bedroom duplex style condo has frontage on the PRINCEVILLE MAKAI CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE with panoramic open space views of both OCEAN and MOUNTAINS. The Golf Course was refurbished in 2010 and is ranked #7 in all of Hawaii. Check out the photos, which are all taken right here at Hale Kolepa Kahua Makai. We have not taken photos elsewhere, which would falsely represent the condo. The Ocean Bluff photos were taken from the Golf Course about 100 yards away. The North Shore of Kauai is the most beautiful area in all of Hawaii. That is why it is called the "GARDEN ISLAND". Miles of BEACHES and VOLCANIC MOUNTAINS provide diverse recreational activities. Since Laurie was born and raised in Hawaii, we have "LOCAL KNOWLEDGE" and can provide guidance on where to go for the activities you desire. Many of these places are not known to tourists, or to very few. Simply pick the activities you desire from the list below, whether they are athletic, or romantic and we will provide the information , which will allow you to have the most memorable experience.
Take a very short stroll to the OCEAN BLUFF. Watch the WAVES breaking on the expansive CORAL REEF and observe the WHALES breaching in the Ocean beyond the Reef. Huge ALBATROSS can be observed performing their mating dance ritual right beside the condo. Walk, or take a short drive to miles of beaches for swimming, beach combing, hiking, or snorkeling. Rent a kayak, surf board, or paddle board to take on Hanalei Bay and the Hanalei River. Make use of the Kamahana Condo pool and cabana. Try some of thew many tours: Helicopter, Napali Coast Zodiac, Sunset Napali Dinner Cruise, Mountain Adventure Tours, Horseback Riding, Zip Lining, Hiking, Hawaiian Farmers Markets and so many others. Shopping, Fine Dining and Groceries are available nearby in the Princeville Marketplace and in Hanalei Town. Inexpensive golf in Hawaii?...we know just the place. Secluded beaches without a lot of tourists?...we know here they are. Hawaiian style local food?...we know the best places.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful and extremely well kept condo. It's location is central to great beaches, a golf course rated in the top 100 in the US, great hikes, and anything else the island has to offer. Also very quiet. Nice sunken living room, large bathroom, and comfortable sleeping quarters.
Absolutely no complaints. We look forward to staying there again in the future.
