This is like living in a "Bird House". The views from the two lanais are spectacular. Drink your morning coffee taking in the mountain views and waterfalls of Bali Hai. Admire Hanalei Bay and check out the golfers putting on the world-famous Makai Golf Course hole #3 on the Ocean's Course. The only visitors you can expect are the many tropical birds and maybe a gecko or two!
After breakfast take a short walk across the road down to “Hideaways Beach” one of the best kept secrets in all of Hawaii! Swim, sunbath, snorkel or just check out the many surfers hanging ten. You may even see someone famous!
Our renovated, beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath villa has cathedral ceilings with ceiling fans in the living, dining and kitchen area. Both bedrooms are on the lower floor each having access to the lower lanai with the same gorgeous views as the upper lanai. Ceiling fans are in each bedroom
Our “Hale” is right next door (but not too close) to the newly renovated five star St. Regis Hotel and Resort with a beach bar and a number of great restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking or just want to hang-out and have a “Sunset Cocktail”. There is a path that gives you access to the St. Regis Resort Beach. Also, if you feel like some pampering the Hotel has a beautiful spa.
With over 30 windows there are beautiful views from every room in this house as well as fantastic trade breezes to keep you comfortable. The locals tell me that this is their favorite Villa in this complex.
Don’t forget to visit the lovely Hanalei Town while you are here and stroll among the very unique collection of stylish shops and galleries. Hanalei Town also has many great restaurants. There are also rental shops in Hanalei from anything from surfboards, kayaks to bikes. Surfing lessons are available as well.

"Elegant and comfortable vacation home in a stunning location"

Four of us has the most idyllic vacation in Hanalei Bay Villa #10. The home has a spectacular view, is in the perfect location for experiencing the N. shore and the rest of the island. The home is beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings and linens. Top of the range comfortable beds. The modern kitchen comes with every dish and tool one might need. 2 lanais with upscale outdoor furniture--plus wireless internet, cooler and beach toys/chairs made it totally perfect! We will be back. Great value for money

The Hanalei Bay Villas have a great problem with the lack
of public parking needed for the surfers who converge on
the area every day. We tried to keep a traffic cone in our
parking spot so it wouldn't be used, but this was stolen.
Also, HB Villa #10 needs to spend more money on the
CD player than it does on the furnishings, which are mostly
quite cumbersome (like the sofa and the beds).
I am the owner of Hanalei Bay Villas 10 and we have a full-time property manager on-site and I contacted him and he says there has never been a problem with parking in our parking area. Not sure what happened here!
"Wake up to a heavenly view every morning!"

My husband and I decided to go back to our favorite Island to celebrate a combo big birthday/big anniversary, so it was very important that we find the perfect place to stay on the Northshore. After reading all the reviews, I decided on Hanalei Villas #10, and as soon as we entered the unit, I knew it was a good decision. The place is light, bright, and clean with nice furnishings throughout. But what strikes you as you come in are the views, which we enjoyed through out our entire stay. The beautiful mountain range, Hanalei Bay, the "jungle" below - we enjoyed every aspect of the glorious vistas from the unit.
When we arrived, there was a problem with the internet service, which sadly I needed for a bit of work while away. That was resolved quickly by Na Pali Properties, which we really appreciated. One thing that was a negative during our stay was that the phone was constantly ringing because of the similarity in number to alamo Car Rental, and we wound up having to unplug the phone altogether. Ringing phones are not what you need on a vacation!
The bed was completely comfy with nice linens, and a spacious closet in the master bedroom. I wasn't thrilled about the tight bathroom, but c'est la vie, it wasn't the end of the world!
We could sometimes hear our neighbors on both sides of us, but it wasn't too bad. I did like the stand alone aspect of the unit - it feels like a private home.
The only other suggestion I would have is to stock the kitchen a bit better. Plenty of dishes and utensils, but not too much in the way of pantry necessities. Obviously I don't expect it to be fully stocked, but some basic spices (to be fair, the unit did have salt and pepper) so you don't have to buy them would have been appreciated since we ate at home a lot!
All in all, it was a magical experience being in Kauai (as always!), and staying at the Hanalei Bay Villa unit made it all the more comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!
Sorry it took me so long to respond to this. We are very happy that you enjoyed our home in Kauai and hope you will return again soon!
Right after I read this review, I had the phone company change the phone number so the "ringing phone" is no longer a problem. Also, I have stocked the cupboards with lots and lots of spices, sugar, tea, flour, salt and pepper in grinders, olive oil, etc. There is also a starter package of coffee for anyone staying in our home. We have even added an Electric BBQ to the unit.
Hope to see you again!!!!!! :) Aloha!!

The pictures do not do this unit the justice it deserves. A stand alone condo with a beautiful view of green florals, green mountains and a view of the Hanalei Bay..blue..blue...blue. It's open with no one on its exterior walls... so the breeze is wonderful coming in from all walls..as opposed to just one or two sides of the building. No one on top or bottom... Quiet... Good place to get lots of rest. At night, you can step out on the deck to look at all of the unbelievable stars... we don't get to see many of these at home.
Beds were so amazingly comfortable... got great night's sleep. Kitchen was well stocked.. cooked almost all meals there. Furniture was all tommy bahama style..island furniture...but was comfortable for the whole family.Had wi-fi included..which was so handy for all our many needs computer needs. The back deck was wonderful to sit out on...lots of great breezes and a beautiful view of golf course too. Lots of birds came to visit... and we had a gecko who would poke his head out of a door frame to visit us too.
Perfect location. Right next to St. Regis and across the street from Hideaway beach. One of the best snorkeling beaches on the island... We could park our car right outside the unit... which was a big deal around this part of the island.
We could have easily stayed much longer here..This was one of our best trips to Hawaii.
Need some time to get used to the roosters crowing all hours of the night and early mornings...and ... guess you cannot get away from lawn mowers or leaf blowers...even in a great place like Kauii... If I were mayor... I'd find a way to make them quiet.

We have been visiting this home for the past 8 years or so. My friends parents use to own the condo and we loved the Hawaiian feel of the interiors. We were disappointed with the new Tommy Bahama decor, even though it was done professionally. We miss the more Hawaiian tiles, furniture etc. that were changed. We will still come to visit since the home is still in a great location and is kept updated and attractive.

Beautiful Princeville home. The views were amazing from the lanais with
waterfalls, mountains, and parts of Hanalei Bay. The home is very comfortable,
with a newer renovation. Tropical themed furniture and decor is found
throughout. Both bedrooms are downstairs. You will find everything you need
during your stay from kitchen appliances - blender, coffee maker, rice cooker,
dishwasher, etc. to hair driers, washer/dryer, beach towels, lanai furniture, and
more. It was a short drive to Hanalei, all the north shore beaches/activities
and the Princeville Center. You can walk to Hideaway Beach, with the beach
access trail just across the street. The property company, Na Pali Properties,
was very nice and easy to work with. They called to confirm we had all the
information before we left and called during our stay to ensure all was well.
We would definitely return again!

We have been visiting Hanalei since 1985 and love the North Shore of Kauai. Up until last year, we owned a home there and now we rent homes or Condos on our visits. We found the Hanalei Bay Villa #10 to be very comfortable, beautifully decorated and have one of the best equipped kitchens for a vacation rental home. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental.

What a wonderful place inside and out - lovely decor, beautiful mountain views, and right across the street from our favorite beach - Hideaways! Doesn't get any better than this. This was our second stay, and we feel we have found our "second home."
