Description
ALOE is a villa newly built with traditional materials, ecological susceptibility ans local architectural design. It has its own garden, entrance and swimming pool. A retreat with privacy bathed in the scent of jasmine, honeysuckle, of evening primrose and lavender.
It is located in the end of the traditional village Prines overlooking the White Mountains, the Cretan Sea and wild oak trees. You hear only the chirp of the birds and you are only 300 m. from restaurants with delicious local food and the center of the village, 2,5 km from beautiful sandy beaches and 5 km from the picturesque town of Rethymno. Ideal for couples, families and groups.
You can relax and let the owner to introduce you to the customs and rituals of real Crete and guide you in the exploration of the historical, cultural and religious places. As nature lover and cyclist, she will acquaint you with the unspoilt Crete and as a hostess she, together with her associates, will take care of everyday concerns.
Because of its central position on the island of Crete, from ALOE villa you can explore all the island (as well as Santorini island) by daily excursions.
The guests who need to relax and enjoy the calmness and the sun near the pool or on the veranda will find here their paradise.

“Heavenly Aloe Villa”
Family with one teenage Daughter, our first time in Crete, and we stayed at the beautiful Villa Aloe in Prines. The villa, pool, and gardens are immaculately kept. An amazing roof terrace, just right for starlit nights. Everything you could need is provided for in the Villa. Thei the owner is a very welcoming Lady, and we found everyone in the village to be helpful. Veranta, and Giannis Restaurants both serve excellent food, with great surroundings, and warm welcome. Mini market is very good for your basic needs too, and again very helpful staff. We loved it.

“Quiet peaceful villa”

“A great place”
We stayed in villa aloe for two and a half weeks in August. It is a wonderful place in a most convenient and beautiful location. The house is only minutes away from the village of prines and three local tavernas where we ate most of the time and they are worth visiting. There is a local mini market and butchers where we did a lot of our shopping. Rethymno is 10 mins away by car. The owner Thei is a wonderful lady and so helpful. We would happily go back to villa aloe again

“A lovely house, a gorgeous setting and every amenity we needed. Highly recommended!”
We loved staying at Aloe villa. It offered every convenience for a family holiday, such as easy access to beautiful beaches (5 mins drive), to the village supermarket, restaurants and cafes(300m), to a big city(Rethymno,10mins drive). At the same time it was serene enough or us to feel the peace and quiet associated with an island holiday. Dusk, with only the birds singing and no other noise was our favourite part of the day. The house itself was impeccably clean and well-kept and easy to get around for our toddler. We are planning to return next summer with friends.
