Villa Elena is located 14 kilometres east of Rethymno, on the outskirts of Viran Episkopi, a peaceful village built around the old diocese of "Agrion" which had been established in the area during the Venetian occupation of Crete.
The 180 sq.m. villa can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people, has a 45sq.m. private swimming pool with separate children's pool and is surrounded by a rich, beautiful garden within a 14.000sq.m. private olive grove. Next to the pool a fully equipped roofed BBQ and wood oven is available for you. The villa's premises are enclosed and not overlooked.
Villa Elena is ideal for families looking for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday with privacy and tranquillity while at the same time remaining close to a multitude of interesting landmarks, places & activities located around the island. Nearby you could visit places of archaeological interest such as the monastery of Arkadi and the ruins of ancient Eleftherna, the sandy beaches only 5' away by car in the area of Skaleta and the lively city of Rethymno. The villa's central location also makes it an ideal base for excursions all around the island of Crete.

We respect and understand our Guests' needs for privacy and relaxation, thus we the owners will be visiting Villa Elena twice per week, in order to clean the pool, the villa and the premises, always after making arrangements about the time of visit with our Guests.

“Perfect family holiday”
Beuatiful villa, we were a party of 6 adults and 2 children and had full use of the villa and prrivate pool. It was home from home and the hospitality was second to none. Maria had cooked us dinner on the day of arrival and was one of the best meals we had durring our stay. We visted Bali beach, apprrox 20 kms along the coast and here we found a lovely bay and small port. Here we were able to do all sorts of water sports and ate on several occaisions at Taverna Livadi, A family run taverna, with 5 star food at 2 star prices, highly recommended. It was an ideal location for a family holiday, we felt the car was essential, We ate in using the BBQ and pizza oven(there is an art to this!) We also walked to the family run Pergantis taverna, fabulous food and hospitality, mind out for the raki drink at the end of the meal. We visted Rethymon, which was a busy bustling town with lots of nice shops, port, beaches and a castle. We were all sorry to leave and hope to visit again.
