Enjoy a dramatic backdrop of mountains at this 3BR/2BA home near Lake Lure. Lovely mountain and forest views await on the wraparound deck, large front porch, and an expansive 3-season room that serves as a bonus living/sleeping space.

In the evenings, a backyard fire pit offers an inviting spot for conversation.

Located in the gated Rumbling Bald Resort, this home is within half a mile of resort amenities, including the beach and lake, pools, a wellness center, spa, clubhouse, and golf course.

The surrounding region is a playground for adventure seekers, with everything from hiking, biking, and skiing, to fishing, rafting and ziplining.

LIVING AREAS

Make yourself at home in the comfortable, spacious living area. There’s plenty of room to unwind between a plush couch, a love seat, and two armchairs. Host a movie night on the 60” flat-screen TV.

A fabulous 3-season room offers a bonus social space/sleeping area. This expansive room includes a large sectional, a full-size bed, a day bed with a trundle, a dining table, and a 60” flat-screen TV! (Please note this room does not have window coverings.)

KITCHEN & DINING

It’s easy to whip up meals in the well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of appliances.

Dish up culinary creations at a grand wooden dining table, seating six. Or enjoy meals in an intimate breakfast nook, featuring a glass-top table and four upholstered chairs.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

The spacious master suite boasts a king bed, 42” flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate jetted tub.

The stylishly appointed second and third bedrooms each have a full-size bed. A nearby guest bathroom comes with a tub/shower combination.

Step outside to find a beautiful backdrop of lush forest and mountain vistas. A wraparound screened deck has plenty of comfy seating, and a covered front porch offers the perfect spot to sit and enjoy morning coffee. In the evenings, grill marshmallows over the backyard fire pit.

The gas fireplace in the living room is not operational.

THE LOCATION

Lake Lure Beach and Water Park (20-minute drive) is a popular spot for kayaking, paddleboarding, and beachside relaxation. While Chimney Rock State Park (a 40-minute drive) attracts rock climbers and hikers, with epic views of Lake Lure from its 315-foot granite monolith.

There’s more spectacular hiking in Pisgah National Forest (a 40-minute drive), and a trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway (50 minutes away) is recommended to experience the region’s mountain scenery.

Explore the quaint shops, antique stores, and restaurants in the villages of Chimney Rock and Bat Cave within 30 minutes.
