Description

What A Blessing is a brand new vacation rental. This is our third property and we designed in all the amenities guests want for the perfect vacation. Just bring your food and favorite beverages because you won't want to leave.

We're on a private road and have almost zero traffic, HOWEVER, we do have a couple cabins near us that our still being constructed so you may hear and see construction noise and vehicles.

Our elevation is 2,020 feet in the Great Smoky Mountains with a straight on view of the second highest peak, Mount Leconte. At night the twinkling lights of the neighboring mountain ranges are magical.

Our driveway is flat and large making for easy parking.

Enter "What A Blessing" through a fully stocked kitchen capable of creating any meal. We're known for providing kitchen gear that exceeds most guest's personal homes. Additionally, we have a Weber grill on the deck for the grill master in the group to enjoy while looking at our killer views.

We know the importance of creating experiences within a vacation rental home, so we packed it full of a variety of destinations.

Let's start with the fun part. We have a combo Theater Room and Game room on the lower level. Recline in our theater seating and enjoy our 75" LG, TV, Vizio Sound Bar, and our Spectrum Gold package with Movie and Sports channels to satisfy most every viewing need. The Game Room is setup with Pool Table, Shuffleboard, and Foosball. We also have a variety of board games: Yahtzee, Monopoly, Cards and Poker chips, Scrabble, Checkers, etc. On the same level step outside to the hot tub and fire table and soak in the views. We also have bar seating on this level if mountain gazing with your favorite beverage is your thing.

We reminisce about family times as kids on our screen porch, so we built one for our guests and equipped it with a gas fireplace. You can watch the sunrise while sitting at the dining table sipping your morning coffee or enjoy the evening meal taking in the majesty of the Smoky Mountains in a peaceful quiet setting. After dinner head to the comfy sectional and sit around the fireplace creating memories.

We designed our cabin to have an open airy feeling with a little bit of a farm house feel. All bedrooms have Joanna Gaines iron Beds and Amish built king size mattresses .

The main level offers:

- a spacious functional kitchen fully equipped with all appliances plus a kitchen vent hood to exhaust less appealing cooking odors

- Comfortable dining for eight

- Gas Fire Place to enjoy while gathering in the Family Room

- Main Floor Bedroom with king size bed and accompanying bathroom and shower. Equipped with TV and DVD player

- Outside view deck furnished with a variety of seating.: A bar top table, two gliders, and two chaise lounges, Weber Grill

Upstairs Level offers:

- Two Bedrooms with King size beds. Equipped with TV's and DVD player. Each have personal bathrooms and showers

- Reading corner with a comfy chair to get started on devouring that vacation book

Lower Level offers:

- 1 Bedroom with King Size Bed and accompanying bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi bathtub. Equipped with TV and DVD player

- Theater & Game Room

- Hot Tub

- Bar Seating

- Gathering area with comfortable wicker seating situated around the fire table

- Washer and Dryer

One more destination is available Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Tennis or Swimming anyone???????

We have a clubhouse within easy walking distance that offers two swimming pools and two lighted tennis courts.

We're 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The road to get to What A Blessing begins at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. If you want to avoid the Gatlinburg traffic you can park your car at the Welcome Center and hop aboard the Gatlinburg Trolleys (all but Tan and Pink routes) unlimited times for only $2.00 per day!

IMPORTANT! You are vacationing in the mountains. To get to the cabin you are driving a curvy mountain road (Wiley Oakley) with steep elevation. The drive is about 6 minutes. When it snows you'll need either 4 wheel drive or snow chains. Take it slow until you get comfortable with navigation.

Getting around

At the bottom of our mountain road is the Gatlinburg Trolley. You can park your car and hop on the trolley and ride all day for $2 per person. We're just 6 minutes up the mountain from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center.

Interaction with guest

Our automatic door lock system eliminates the need to go to a rental office to pick up keys. We provide your own personal code to enter and exit the cabin. This cabin was just as pictured. The amenities were excellent. This cabin had everything we wanted. Comfortable beds. Centrally located. Perfect!
