Description
Situated at the foot of the black mountain the cottage is only minutes from the Brecon Beacon National Park boundary. The view from the front is of a wide common with the Black Mountain as backdrop. Comfortably furnished throughout ,the front room has a leather three seater sofa, and one leather chesterfield chair. There is a flat screen television. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped, and has a breakfast bar and stools next to the French doors, which open out onto the patio area which is also furnished with table chairs and log bench. The shower room is of a good size, and is bright and modern. The bedroom upstairs is furnished with one single and one double bed. All beds are ready made up with clean, freshly laundered linen, also supplied are hand towels, shower mat and tea towels. Parking is immediately outside of the cottage. Apple cottage is situated next to Bramley cottage and is the smaller of the two.

The cottage is comfortable for all seasons. There is central heating and log burning stove to create warm and cosy winter stays. During warmer months, there is a very comfortable outside sitting and eating area, with views over the Black Mountain. There is constant hot water and powerful shower. Please note, we do not supply large towels, only hand towels, tea towels and shower mat. Beds are ready made up with freshly laundered and ironed bedding.

Car parking is immediately outside of the cottage. The view from the back ,is of the garden, this is carefully tended, and has colourful borders of flowers and shrubs to the good size lawn. We have put a decking area in the front giving great views over the Brecon Beacons. Dining table and benches as well as rattan two seater sofa. There is a rotary line for drying clothes. The view from the front of the garden is of the common on which cattle, sheep and horses graze. The backdrop to this is the Black mountain. A very common sight in these parts is the red kite often seen hovering over the common looking for takeaway frogs and small rodents for lunch. The area is fantastically situated within a 15 mile radius is the Gower coast, the beginning of the west Wales coast is in LLanelli, The Brecon Beacons and market towns such as Llandeilo, Llangadog, and the city of Swansea.
