Description

A beautiful 3 bedroom apartment with fantastic sea views. Situated in the heart of Altea´s seafront with all amenities in easy walking distance. The apartment has a very bright and airy feel and has beautiful wood flooring throughout.

Upon entering Casa Joanie there is a long hallway from where the three bedrooms can be accessed, the third bedroom has a single bed with a pull out second bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds and the master bedroom has a double bed and a shower room. There is a second shower room. The tiles and wood flooring gives the apartment a clean cosy feel throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped and a window gives fantastic sea views. The spacious living/dining room has full length picture windows which open completely on to the terrace. The apartment has wifi and UK TV channels.

The main room was excellent looking out to sea and the apartment was very well equipped. There were plenty of towels and seats for the beach. However this apartment would better be described as being for 5 adults not 6. We were a party of 4 adults with 2 grandsons of 16 and 19 and the third bedroom had hardly any room at all without even after taking out a bedside table. There were no mirrors in either of the two small bedrooms. The main bedroom was fine and the ensuite was the size of a family bathroom with two wash basins. The other bathroom was very small and what you would expect as an ensuite. It was very hour during our two week stay and even with open windows and fans, sleeping was difficult. The bedrooms definitely needed air conditioning. I was surprised that there was not another set of bedding as we were staying for 2 weeks and we have always had this in previous apartments we have stayed in throughout Spain. When I enquired about this soon after we arrived I was told we would have to pay extra for this. So we washed the sheets we had. All in all with the lack of air conditioning and the very small family bathroom we would not return to casa Joanne

Just a few steps from the sea front with all the amenities you require within very easy walking distance including a mini market and several excellent restaurants The apartment is very well appointed including fast internet connection and English TV, comfortable beds and lounge furniture and a well equipped kitchen. Car parking was easy on the free car park behind the apartment with access via the back door. Plenty of places to visit nearby and public transport easy to use including the tram if required. We ate at a number of the recommended restaurants and all were well worth the visit. Anita and Stuart were on hand should the need have arose - always a reassurance A place on our list to revisit!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
