Le Parc Des Ducs is a modern spacious (70 sq m) 2 bedroom apartment within a small, immaculately maintained exclusive development less than 5min walking distance from Uzes historical centre.

As a ground floor apartment, it benefits from its own small private and secure patio and garden making it ideal for a family with children.

Living Room / Kitchen - Spacious open plan living room / kitchen with access to the private garden through patio doors. A large comfortable and easily operated sofa-bed is located in the living room. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and has dining space for 6

The apartment is fitted with a 40" TV showing terrestrial French channels and DVD player complete with a selection of films.

Shutters are fitted throughout the apartment (electric in the case of those fitted to the patio doors). This has the benefit of making the apartment very peaceful at night due to their sound deadening qualities

The apartment enjoys its own private and secure garden. The Patio is equipped with a large table and seating for 6 and is ideal for 'al fresco' dining

A large 6m x 12m shared swimming pool complete with wash house is located within a beautifully maintained south facing communal garden. The pool is 'child friendly' due to access being only possible through the use of a key or security code.

Please note that the swimming pool is available for use from early May until early October (dates are approx).

Further facilities include a video security entrance system and a garage located within the underground parking area.

Please note that the garage is relatively narrow and we recommend that it is best if passengers exit prior to parking. One holidaymaker has commented that he had difficulty parking his Mondeo, however another holidaymaker made regular use of the garage for his Audi Q7 and cars don't get much bigger than that.

Disabled access can be had to the apartment via a specifically designed ramp.

The apartment is very well equipped and easy to run; it was also very quiet. We were there in February but imagine that in summer it would be very cool. It is in easy walking distance of the town centre with essential supplies even closer than that; Uzes itself is a delightful town, quite small but with plenty to see and do. It is also very easy to use the apartment as a base to explore the wider region - we went to Arles, Avignon, the gorge of the Ardeche, the Camargue as well as more local sights such as the Pont du Gard, which is essential viewing!

“Modern family accommodation with walking distance to excellent food stores”

This is a great two bed appartment set in the middle of Uzes, a busy, beautiful, french hill top town with great food, clothes, shoe and interior design shopping. Uzes is close to the cities of Nimes, my 14yr old son loved the gladiator exhibition at the bull ring , and Avignon, a picturesque university city with great parks and ice cream for my 9 yr old daughter, not to mention the bridge ! We spent two days of the hioliday enjoying the market of Uzes and the 'Haribo' factory on the outskirts, as well as the fabulous Pont du Gard 20 mins drive away. The appartment offers great family facilities for rainy days too, including a great DVD collection, swimming pool in summer and family sized fridege freezer and crockery for those interesting french food finds. Easy to find, immaculately clean and 3 minutes from the town centre.

Very comfortable and modern apartment about 10 mins walk from the very centre of historic and very french Provence town of Uzes. Owners could not have been more helpful, and facilities met all the descriptions. Parents of the owner also picked us up at the bus station and showed us how everything worked. Apartment is quiet, and well positioned for a easy 10 min walk into the very heart of this delightful town - loads of good restaurants, fantastic twice weekly market, and lots to see. We are walkers, and spent the week exploring the many trails and paths locally - did not take a car, and buses were very good.

“Beautiful groundfloor flat in quiet property, very convenient”

Historic centre of Uzes and all shops are an easy walk. The flat is modern, beautifully decorated and well equipped, and secure . The rooms are very spacious and immaculate. We found it a most pleasant base for our excursions into the country and round Uzes itself. Since it is all on one level, with wide doorways, it would be ideal for anyone in a wheelchair. There is a pleasant terrace outside for meals as well as facilities for dining inside. The gardens are superb and beautifully maintained and the swimming pool was a facility which we really enjoyed. We were met by the owners who were charming and helpful in every way. All in all we had a really delightful week there and would recommend the flat and Uzes for a perfect holiday .
