Apartment A01 in Chalet Chamoissiere In Le Monetier-les-Bains, Serre Chevalier is a ground-floor chalet apartment with stunning mountain views, in a convenient location opposite the ski slopes in a quiet private residence heated by the geothermal springs.
It is just 200m walk to the pistes across the footbridge, and 5 minute walk to the shop and restaurants of the spa village of Le Monêtier-les-Bains. A heated pool, sauna and steam room are available for relaxation at the end of the day shared with the rest of the Chamoissiere residence.
The apartment sleeps up to 4 people, and is well-equipped for self-caterers with full oven, large fridge and dishwasher, washing machine etc.
Chalet Chamoissiere is ideal for couples wanting a romantic ski break in peace and quiet with easy access to pistes, bars and restaurants. The roman-themed thermal spa Les Grands Bains are just 200m walk for spa treatments, massage and lounging in the thermal waters.
In summer have breakfast on the terrace or lounge by the pool and admire the views. Chairlifts are open in July and August for walkers, climbers and mountain bikers.
Rafting, kayaking and mountain biking are all within a short walk during the summer months. You can see details of more activities across the seasons on our Chamoissiere website.
We are happy to accept one or two dogs in Chamoissiere at an extra charge of 20€, subject to accepting our additional terms and conditions available on request, and provided we are asked in advance of arrival.

In Summer, the chairlifts open from the end of June until the end of August. Dates vary from year to year and can be seen on our Chamoissiere website. A designated parking space is available for your use.
Due to the current pandemic, we have decided to stop providing towels for the foreseeable future.
We will continue to supply bedding but for hygiene reasons request that you strip beds into the provided laundry bags before departure.

The front entrance lobby opens onto a small hallway, with coat hooks, and storage cupboard.
A double bedroom and shower room which also houses the washing machine, are accessed off the hallway.
The open-plan lounge area, with flat screen TV, DVD and ipod docking station opens onto the sunny terrace.
There is a comfortable sofa bed and chair in the lounge (maximum 2 people) and a dining table with 4 chairs.
The kitchenette is well-equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, full-size electric oven and 4-ring induction hob. There is a good selection of pans and casseroles for cooking, and plenty of plates and cutlery.

.The apartment has underfloor heating, using the water from the local thermal springs. The resort is committed to the use of greener energy, and uses a high percentage power from a renewable source.
Plenty of cupboard and drawer space, and a hair dryer and shaver socket in the bathroom.

The swimming pool is open air, but is heated by the local hot springs. There is also a sauna and hammam (a Turkish style steam room) and a relaxation area with loungers. Each apartment has its own private changing cubicle. A decked area is used for sunbathing around the pool in the summer. The terrace and garden have beautiful views of the ski slopes in winter, and fabulous mountain views in summer.

**We cannot be held responsible for the failure of the pool and other facilities to open due to mechanical or technical failures, or adverse weather. In such circumstances the opening times and details of problems will be posted on the blackboard at the bottom of the stairs in the pool area. Swimming pool opening times may vary depending on the season, but should be posted on the notice board in the lobby. Please ask if you require use of the pool outside of the main holiday seasons for details of opening times. Pool will close entirely between End of September and mid-December.**

Well appointed small flat, with use of heated pool and sauna. Endless beautiful walks in the mountains - we got high enough up to touch snow in August, despite the weather being lovely. Really pretty mountain village - although food on the whole not the best France has to offer. Will definitely be returning in winter for skiing. Overall a great family ski resort, particularly for those with younger children.
