Comfortable and modern apart, rented by BRIGITTE, located 100 m. from the PROMENADE and NEGRESCO HOTEL, in the beautiful CARRE D'OR.
Admire the Angeles Bay turquoise water and ride for free a VÉLO BLEU along cycling paths.
Stay from CHRISTMAS eve on December 23rd to tthe day after Januar 1st , for 10 days or a full week from 23rd to Dec 30th; or from Dec 26th to January 2nd.

It was wonderful to meet you Brigitte, I was fascinated by the history of Nice and your knowledge was extensive. All the information you gave us regarding trips and transport was spot on and really helpful. Thank you so much for picking us up from the airport, it meant we had an easy and stress free start to our holiday and a special thank you for taking us around Nice and showing us all the sights. That was amazingly kind of you and you made us feel so welcome. It was a real pleasure to meet you, you are so warm and lovely and we will always remember this.
We loved the apartment, particularly the air conditioning as we entered! The position is amazing and we used the supermarket daily. Our bed was very comfortable and the shower is fantastic, much better than my one at home! I wanted to take your window shutters home too, it is rare to have shutters in Britain but it makes it so lovely and dark for sleeping.
I hope to meet you in the future, that would be great.

This luxury 55 m2 apartment located 50 m. from the PROMENADE, just behind the NEGRESCO HOTEL, in the CARRE D'OR quartier, is rented directly by Brigitte, its owner. It is comfortable and modern and stays on the 2nd floor equipped with an elevator of a videowatched building, in a beautiful quiet, central and commercial area (with restaurants and supermarkets) near the MUSEE MASSENA and its gardens and the "rue pietonne" where you can stroll by night, sit in cafés and eat at terraces with candles.
This two-bedroom bright and cosy apartment has been completely renovated and consists of a corridor entrance, living area with two high quality sofa-beds and without any face-to-face neighbours, but the Church of Saint Pierre d'Arènes, 1 separate bedroom that contains a luxury Spanish style designed king size bed with latex mattress, 1 bedroom-dressing with a comfortable double bed, both giving on a lovely inner garden and an American kitchen with vitroceramic cooker, fridge with 3 wide freezer shelves and all the necessary utensils for a good holiday cooking. There is also a large shower room with thermostaktic mixing valve, modern excentric washbasin and separate toilet.
The apartment is equiped with air-conditionning, wide french windows with double glazing, electric shutters centrally and individually controlled, big flat screen with satelitte-TV subscription, free landline telephone to call all over the world, illimited internet on optic fiber with wifi service, blue ray and radio with usb connection, washing-drying machine, towel-dryer, hair-dryer, iron table and steam iron, beach chairs , mattresses and towels, umbrellas and picnic bag.
The owner provides perfectly clean bedlinens, duvets and pillows with their house protection, home bath towels, etc. You will also find a gift pack with sweets, chocolate and cookies, coffee and tea as well as a bottle of champagne from the Provence vineyards.
Brigitte offers to cycling lovers, families, seniors and youngsters, 4 "VELOS BLEUS" subscriptions to ride along the PROMENADE and the cycling paths of Nice: A unique cycling experience in the most sophisticated city of the Côte d'Azur, which can take you up to Cagnes sur Mer along the privileged La Littorale 14 kms special cycling way from Nice port, along the Promenade des Anglais, up to Saint Laurent du Var, by the Sea Road and the Beach Road at Cagnes.
The apartment is just 10 mns walking from the station, 10 mns by car and about 20 min with the brand new tramway (Line 2) which takes the passengers directly at their Terminal and drive them to the next station to our apartment, 3 blocks before, at the CENTRE UNIVERSITAIRE MÉDITERRANÉEN;
Nearby is the Tourist Office, the Meridien Hotel, Casino Ruhl, Massena Square with its delicious Italian arquitecture and water mirror followed by the Coulée Verte park, the tramway line 1 riding on a green lawn, Nice Etoile walking commercial area and the Old City with its Cours Salaya full of restaurants and cafés terraces, the Opera and the Flower market.
At 50 m. from the apartment, you have the most beautiful private and sophisticated beaches such as Hi Beach, Neptune, Lido, Sporting, Miami Beach, etc. where you can rent a long chair and spend the day taking sun and drinking special cocktails and mojitos.
At the apartment, we welcome children and we can provide a cot or a small bed for your baby.

“Disappointing”
Our stay in this apartment was very disappointing. When we decided on where to stay we based our final decision on the wonderful reviews that previous guests gave. But we were very disappointed that these reviews in our opinion did not hold up We only stay for the one night and moved out the following day adding further costs to our holiday expenditure. We felt that this was too small, the street location was a little rough looking and little unkempt for our liking, based on the price and additional charges we paid As you enter the block they was a awful smell from the bins due to the heat and no proper ventilation in the hallway We were pick up from the station by our host in a Black Opel. This car was very dusty and dirty to say the least Brigitte herself was a very lovely old lady and made us feel very welcome she provided us with loads of useful information on places to visit etc It’s such a shame that the apartment didn’t reflect this

Response from the owner I regret that Lynette and her two accompanying persons did not appreciate our apartment in Nice, but as she herself puts it, she booked on the basis of the “wonderful reviews that previous guests gave”, something which demonstrates that Lynette’s disappointment is wrongly based as it shows to be a particular and unique opinion which pretends to be the truth in front of a great number of views completely opposed to hers and the ones of her friends. I think Lynette has perception and behavior problems, the latter being demonstrated by the fact that they moved out of the apartment without letting me know anything but after they went back to their country, something which shows bad conscience and guilty feelings. They are probably not used to travel on holidays which explains that they missed the plane to fly to Nice and had to pay for an extra ticket and then on their way to the apartment, by the tram, mistook the station, all of which determined a 10 hours belated arrival which obliged me to reorganize my schedule. Because of those circumstances, I had the completely altruist gesture of collecting them without any charge at the station, waiting for them several hours under the heat of the afternoon, not being obliged to it, but they found that my black opel car was “very dusty and dirty”, expecting probably that I would go with a limousine according to their high position. With regard to the apartment, their only argument is that it was too small when it is clearly specified in my ad, that it is 55 m2 and is composed of two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom and separated toilets. I hope they could find something bigger for the price they say was too high which I think is wrong since 550 euros for 5 days and 3 persons with full air-conditioning, flat screen, internet, canalsat, electric shutters, induction cooker, etc,in the month of July, can’t be qualified as expensive, above all when that apartment is located just one street behind the Negresco Hotel, at the corner of Rue de France with Gambetta Avenue and 100 meters from The Promenade and the beach. As for the “extra-charge” argued by Lynette, these were probably the fees of TRIPADVISOR, which can’t be either considered as excessive as they are the price paid to be recommended by such a qualified holiday operator which informed those ladies our apartment presented a good relation quality price upon more than 95% holidaymakers' opinions which they are enough daring to contradict it all. Precisely, one of their criticism is based on the street location which they say was “a little rough looking”, something which again demonstrates a problem of perception of these ladies, beginning with the fact that our street is occupied on a complete side, by the wall of the beautiful church called Saint Pierre d’Arène, which has the advantage that our apartment has no other one facing our wide French windows while there is not any coming and going of people on that side of the street, being at the same time our quartier one very traditional and appreciated in the city of Nice, called the Carré d’Or, where The Buffa sector located on the limits of the Musicien quartier, offers a very typical and well known special atmosphere which reminds the Italian origins of that beautiful town. I thank very much Lynette for describing me as “a very lovely old lady who made (them) feel very welcome and provided (them) with loads of useful information on places to visit", but as far as I am concerned, I would tell her that in their case, they really need to look over their world perception as their behavior shows a serious problem of acquaintance between reality and the way they look at it.
