Description
Paphos' motto is “a reason for all seasons” and it is a candidate for the 2017 European Cultural Capital. This simply means that is a great place to unwind at any time of the year. You will also get the chance to rediscover the past, explore Cypriot cuisine and experience the warmth and easy-going nature of the locals.
The apartment is located in Kato, Paphos in a quiet residential area. Once you fly into the recently built Paphos airport, it is a 20-minute drive to the Universe neighborhood. There is covered parking for your rental car and the apartment is on the third floor, which gives you views of the neighborhood from the balcony and the master bedroom. These rooms also get sun in the morning.
The apartment was built around 7 years ago and so is modern, has good natural light and a spacious layout. There are two bedrooms both with A/C. The master bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has two single beds. The living/dining room also has A/C and can comfortably seat 4 people and there is a 6-seater dining table if you wish to have dinner party or you could have dinner on the private balcony. The kitchen is an open one and well equipped enough for you to feel right at home. Although the area is quiet, your new home is only a 5-minute drive away from the Mediterranean Sea, bars and restaurants and some archaeological sites. Paphos' first mall and multiplex is now also a 5-minute drive if you need a quick shopping fix and a dose of Costa Coffee! If you are a runner, the area is not bad for an early morning jog as there are paved sidewalks and not much traffic.
In terms of home entertainment there is Wi-Fi which is good enough for streaming, a DVD player and TV. The local video /DVD store is only a 5 minute walk away and the local mom & pop shop is not much further. if you don't feel like driving you can get to the promenade , shops, cafes and sites in about 15 - 20 minutes or you can take bus number 603.
