Welcome to Carolina Moon.

Located in the smaller community of Surfside Beach only a few minutes north of Myrtle Beach South Carolina. This small beach community is a premium vacation destination.

Carolina moon is a five bedroom and four bath house on Ocean Blvd. One block north of the Surfside Pier and the main street of Surfside. A short walk from several restaurants and bars.

Carolina moon has ample seating for up to fourteen people. You will find that Carolina moon has it's own fenced in private pool for those warm days.

New for 2021 we have added a pool heater for those cooler months in the spring and fall.

The first bedroom downstairs has two full sized beds. While upstairs you will find two king sized bedrooms that share a jack and jill style bathroom. Before reaching the master bedroom you will find the kids room with a large bunkbed equipped with a trundle bed underneath.

Getting around

You can walk most places in the town but you will need at least one car to get to the big places. Department stores and larger grocers. I have had people just UBER around or rent a golf cart. Again I recommend WAZE or google maps to show you what is nearby.

Interaction with guest

I live in Surfside beach am usually available all the time. My cell phone is provided please leave me a message I usually do not get to it in time. Make sure to tell me who you are and where you are staying that is important. At least a week before you come I will send out a key code to your email the door is electronic so no keys to keep up with. I try to be hands off with things how they are these days if you are reading this and the Covid thing is still going on.

House rules

Carolina Moon handles a maximum of fourteen people. You will find the house rules posted in the building. Please call me if you run into problems I am usually in town and available. I would prefer if you rent a golfcart to try to obtain a gas powered one the local rental companies battery powered ones have some serious problems with chargers. There is no lifeguard on duty for the pool so please watch small children at all times.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If JASON (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
