Description

Our cottage enjoys superb views (mountain and lake) and has a self-contained terrace and BBQ, It is surrounded by lush gardens near the “soft water” swimming pool. All of this together with Mini Golf, table tennis, darts, table football, boules, a football area, swings, slides etc make for an ideal family holiday location.

The cottage is built in traditional Andalucían style with wooden ceilings and furnishings. There is a wood-burning stove in the sitting room, and bathroom has both bath and shower (over the tub).

The American style open plan kitchen/dining area has all kitchen utensils and tableware provided. It has a four burner gas hob and microwave oven. Bed linen and towels are also provided and changed weekly.

Digital Spanish Television programmes, Radio and DVD player.

There is a also a safe and smoke and carbon monoxide alarm.

Anyone with a small baby or toddler should mention this when booking as we can provide many items to help keep luggage weights down. Baby bath, steriliser, buggy, changing mat, stair gate etc etc.

Free Wi-Fi: There is good mobile telephone coverage and free wi-fi access in the cottage and on the terrace of Restaurante Cantueso.

For those times when you prefer not to cook you can enjoy the professionally cooked food in the restaurant, a take away, or simply enjoy some tapas on the terrace. A children's menu is available with freshly cooked small portions.

Swimming Pool: Our 12 x 6 metre pool is securely fenced with self-closing gates, all to the latest European standards, however parents should always be vigilant as the pool does not have a life guard. Parents may also appreciate that we have reduced the depth at the shallow end to ½ metre and now have easy access steps for children. Pool towels are not provided but may be hired for a nominal amount.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Nicky (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
