“Poor information”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2019

As much as I would have loved my family to have stayed in 2 of these cottages, the information regarding the fact that both cottages sleep 8 is misleading. The price quoted was increased as I had requested 5 people to stay and they had to put a pull up bed in?? if the cottages do not sleep 8 then they should be advertised as to the amount of people they sleep officially and then advised more can fit in for an extra price. I am totally gutted that this was not conveyed prior to my request being put in as theses cottages were in close proximity to the venue that we are to attend a wedding

Response from the owner Dear Guest I appreciate that the cottages are described as sleeping up to 8 they are however always set for the number you book and unless its 8 they are never set for this number. you are given the opportunity to add your own sofa bed (not pull up bed) at the time of enquiring, which you did not which left us with no choice but to add it for you, we do not ever hide our charges and whilst clearly this affected your decision to book for the extra £30 I am not sure it warranted this comment.
