Our chalet apartment in the heart of Klosters, Switzerland (with Sauna) offers luxurious and comfortable accommodation with everything you could possibly want for a fantastic holiday. It is a true home from home, stylishly and beautifully furnished and equipped in an excellent location. Enjoy romantic evenings around the log fire, dine in candlelight, stretch out on the huge sofa with a glass of wine or a drink from the free bar, play a game or watch a DVD or catch up with your favourite programmes on the 52" surround sound system TV, or take a relaxing sauna after a hard day's skiing or hiking. When you don't feel like cooking, take a 5 minute stroll to world-class restaurants and romantic fondue stüblis, or take the family for pasta or pizza. After dinner have a nightcap in one of the piano bars, or head for the nightlife.

LOCATION:

Our chalet apartment is perfectly positioned to take adavantage of all Klosters has to offer - everything is in walking distance! In winter it is an 8 minute flat walk in ski boots to the Gotschna ski lift accessing the main ski region of Klosters and Davos. Restaurants are within a mere stone's throw away and the main shops are only 5 minutes away on foot.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:

Chalet Platzersch hof, Klosters, Switzerland is a 145 square metre apartment and was built in 2008. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms (two en-suite) and three balconies. All the furniture and fittings are of the highest quality.

LIVING AREA: The extremely large sitting room is equipped with a huge cream leather corner sofa with adjustable back and incorporated chaise. There is a 52 inch Samsung flat screen HD TV with Swisscom TV 2.0 which includes English freeview channels (and hundreds of German, French, Italian and other language channels) plus a recording and play-back facility and home cinema surround sound system with DVD and CD player for your enjoyment (with a library of DVDs). The log fire and Italian lighting creates a cosy and romantic feel. There is a Bose docking station for your i-pod and i-phone. The glass and chrome dining table with cream leather chairs provides comfortable and sophisticated seating for 8 people.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, good quality and plentiful supplies of saucepans, frying pans etc. Naturally there is both a cheese and meat fondue and a raclette machine for your use.

There is access to the south-facing balcony from this living/dining room. The balcony is equipped with a modern table and 4 reclining chairs and 2 upright chairs, and an Outdoor Chef gas BBQ.

BEDROOMS: The main bedroom has a huge and very comfortable modern (2.40 metre by 2.40 metre) bed with incorporated bedside tables and lighting and with good quality bedding. There is a double wardrobe with ample hanging and shelf space.

This room leads on to the east facing balcony with two comfortable chairs and wine table. There is a full en-suite bathroom, with bath and in-built shower, toilet and wash basin.

The second bedroom (with en-suite shower room) has two extra-wide twin beds (1.20 metres wide) and an 82cm flat-screen Sony HD TV with English Freeview TV channels and an XBOX 360, PLAYSTATION 3 plus games and DVD's. Again there is a double wardrobe with ample hanging and shelf space.

The third bedroom has two single beds (head to tail) and small west facing balcony with double wardrobe and a supply of children's games and board games. The third bathroom (with shower) is across the hallway and this additionally houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

WI-FI: Naturally there is an extreme high-speed Wifi connection

SAUNA: There is an in-house sauna in the basement which can be reserved for your private use with large walk-in shower and relaxation area.

Finally, the apartment also offers a ski room with heated boot storage and an underground private car parking space. We also have sledges for your use. Towels are provided for the bathrooms, beach/swimming towels and sauna towels are also provided.

Getting around

Getting around is very easy in Klosters and Switzerland in general. We are a short walk to the train station and there is a bus stop within a few metres of the front door. In addition all local public transport is FREE with your Guest Card.

Interaction with guest

We will do all that we can to make sure you have a fantastic holiday. To this end, we always endeavour to meet guests personally, picking you up from the station and showing you around the apartment. We are on hand at the end of a telephone to help at any time.

“An Absolutely Fantastic Apartment”

The owners were extremely helpful in every way, even providing rucksacks, maps etc. for walks in the area. The very spacious apartment was furnished to a very high standard to meet all your needs and yet had a wonderful homely feeling. All the rooms were spotlessly clean and well equiped. Should you wish to dine in, everything you could possibly need is here in the kitchen, all high quality including beautiful china cutlery and glass. Within five minutes from this property there are fantastic restaurants to visit. I would certainly recommend this stunning apartment to my family and friends, a very memorable holiday.

“Comfortable luxury - great for a ski holiday”

Spectacular apartment and very welcoming owner. We had a fabulous stay in Klosters - focus was on skiing but we also managed some great r&r. . This apartment is both stunning and spacious - but also very comfortable. We were completely able to make ourselves at home. Kim, the owner, couldnt have been more helpful both before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this apartment and Klosters for a wonderful holiday - we're still glowing from our trip.
