Description

This apartment located in the heart of the Old Town can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons. There are two bedrooms; 1 king size double en suite with TV, one twin, Double sofa bed in living room, 2nd bathroom. Bedrooms are peaceful and quiet at night. Open plan kitchen/dining/living room with 3 windows looking directly onto Royal Mile/Lawnmarket. All windows in the property are double glazed. Bathrooms have under floor heating. There is gas central heating. The property retains great period features; old stone fireplaces, exposed ancient stone walls; and yet provides all modern conveniences and striking decoration. Situated in the historic Old Town of Edinburgh, this is the best place to stay in the city. The Old Town is a World Heritage site. Steeped in history, packed with museums, visitor attractions, specialty shops, restaurants and pubs. Edinburgh castle is 1 minute walk from your front door. This area of the city has a real buzz and is a joy to explore. This apartment is however in a peaceful location late at night with no nightclubs or noisy pubs. This a great place to stay anytime but a prime location during the Edinburgh Festival/Fringe or at New Year.

Publc transport is just a few metres away from the apartment and taxis are readily available at the taxi rank some 50 metres away. Uber is also available in the city. Hop on hop off buses are within 1 minute walk.

“Great location”

You couldn’t ask for a better location on the Royal Mile. The flat has lots of character with the exposed stone of the old original building but brand new bathrooms and kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet and everything you want to see is on your doorstep.

“Perfect apartment, perfect location, had every thing we needed and much mor.”

This was our first time through trip adviser and it won't be our last we are planning another trip to the same apartment in Edinbrugh next year. We received a warm welcome and a low down on we're to go for shops and places to visit. A handy booklet was awaiting with things to do places to go, handy telephone numbers. The apartment was fantastic, immaculate and very stylish. Every thing we needed was to hand and more. The owner was more than a great help. We were a minuet away from Edinburgh Castle, so much history on our door step.
