Apollon Apartment is at Villa Begonia, with 2 bedrooms on the first floor, located just 5-7 minutes' walk from the sea, in Akarca, a favoured residential area of Fethiye. Ideal for those who like to be a little away from the bustle, yet with easy access to amenities, Akarca lies between Calis and central Fethiye. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 5 minutes drive/bus or 30 walk from the town centre, the apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the Fethiye and Calis open markets for fresh produce and bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out, from simple home-cooking to international cuisine.

The apartment benefits from a large garden and large size pool, with a shallow pool for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with lovely garden, mountain and pool views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco, with a lockable spiral stair to the garden.

Please note this is a quiet residential area for a peaceful holiday not a complex and not suitable for loud parties.

The apartment is new, built in traditional style with high ceilings, ceramic flooring and many windows giving a light and airy atmosphere with lovely views across the delightful gardens to mountains in the distance. The living room opens onto the large balcony with table and chairs and BBQ, overlooking the garden and pool. Also overlooking the pool is the kitchen/diner with table and chairs for indoor dining. Each bedroom has its own private balcony with seating and views.

In addition to the bedrooms, additional sleeping facilities include a sofabed in the living room, and a babycot. All windows have security doors or blinds.

There are 6 apartments in the villa; one in full time occupation, the others are holiday homes. Apollon is on the first floor with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms and can be rented with Ayyildiz and Melek for family holiday groups. Melek apartment and Ayyildiz (also have 2 bedrooms),are on the ground floor, accessed by a few stairs to own front door. Disabled access is possible.
There is YOGA equipment ( 6 mats, blocks, belts) for those who like to practise on holiday.

Set in a large, well tended communal garden, the property has a large, well-shaded, private balcony, with barbeque. Table and chairs for balcony meals.

There is a large swimming pool onsite, and also shaded areas with tables and chairs for eating or relaxing in different parts of the garden.

An easy level walk, ( 5-7 minutes depending on your pace) from the apartment takes you to the seafront, where the beach area is good for fishing.

Then to the left is the promenade walk into Fethiye harbour and old town, with numerous cafes, play and rest areas, a new marina, fish for sale etc along the way. To the right is a 20 minute walk to central Calis, with its long beach, boat trips, restaurants, waterpark.

Both of these are also easily access by car or the dolmus which passes every few minutes

Response from the owner This review shows the importance of reading information before booking!It seems that these guests had not read the information about the apartment, either before booking or the full information pack sent out, and were expecting a town hotel apartment not a private holiday home. For example, on arrival they waited outside for over an hour for a 'manager'to escort them in, until a friendly neighbour noticed and went to see if they could help. They then found fault with everything there. Their response to the apartment and its cleanliness is in stark contrast to all other guests' comments. The rest of the reviews, and and the photos, speak for themselves.
