Description

The grade II listed cottage dates from around the early 17th century and many of the original features remain intact today. It has a large and welcoming open fire in the living room and exposed beams throughout the ground floor. There is a fully fitted kitchen with dining area for four, a shower room and toilet, with a further washroom and toilet on the second floor. The cottage has central heating throughout and a constant supply of piping hot water. Doors from both the kitchen and lounge lead to a pretty rear garden with seated patio area.

Visitors will not be disappointed with this warm and cosy, quiet sanctuary set amidst the hustle and bustle of a historic market town.

There is ample free off street parking in front and over the road from the cottage. Opposite is the elegant Manor House Hotel (pop over for cream teas or the fine restaurant and bar), just five doors away is the Swan pub, and in 350 yards is The Inn on The Marsh pub.

Set in the heart of the North Cotswolds our cottage is ideally located as a base for visiting and exploring both the local area and farther afield. There are plenty of beautiful villages to visit such as Broadway, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold and the Slaughters. With many other attractions including a number of wonderful gardens, historic properties,castles and other opportunities to suit visitors of any age.

“Excellent Cottage”

Really lovely cottage, very cosy and charming. Location is fantastic, right along the high street with all the amenities on the doorstep. The kitchen and bathrooms are really great and the cottage has two good sized bedrooms. The owner was very helpful, communicating everything we needed to know. Will definitely come back here in the not to distant future.
