Description

This modern, good sized, air conditioned ground floor apartment with enclosed private garden is one of six in a block accessed through a secure entrance. We set this apartment up as our second home and therefore we have furnished and equiped it with home comforts in mind. The panoramic, sliding front windows highlight the spectacular views across the Ria Formosa and Ocean and make for a bright and airy ambience. For your safety and comfort our apartment is licensed for renting to tourists, Licence No 155 AL .Fully equipped for all your self catering needs, including a gas barbecue, which allows you to cook and eat outdoors in the garden, enjoying the great weather to the full. A Dolce Gusto capsule coffee maker is provided.

Our friendly local property manager will look after you from the time of booking through to the end of your holiday, ensuring that you have a relaxing and stress free stay.

Please note that Olhao Municipal Council introduced a Tourist Tax from June 2023 for visitors staying in the municipality. Currently this is 2 euros per night per adult, up to a maximum of 5 nights, April to October and 1 euro per night for the rest of the year. Our manager will collect the tax due upon your arrival at the apartment

The apartment is on a prestige development in the quiet and unspoilt fishing village of Fuzeta only a 25 minute drive from Faro airport. The apartment offers a private garden partly sunny and partly shaded, with lighting.There is a privately owned swimming pool building with restaurant / bar,(currently closed) one pool on a terrace above the other, just across the road from the apartment. The pools are good for a refreshing dip, but space is limited for sunbathing. Access to the swimming pool building is by electronic card reader beside the entry gate. Currently the swimming pool is open during daylight hours.

The apartment has an open plan living area which includes a well equipped kitchen. There is Wi Fi, TV, DVD and a Radio/ CD HiFi system. The main bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite shower room and ample built in wardrobes,with a safe. The second bedroom has twin beds with similar wardrobes and easy access to the second shower room. Both bedrooms have access to the garden through patio doors. For your comfort fly/ mosquito screens have been fitted to some windows and patio doors.

A 10 minute walk takes you to the heart of Fuzeta with its cafes, restaurants and shops. Fuzeta has two Blue Flag beaches, the lagoon beach which is in the village and is safe for young children and the ocean beach which is accessed via a short ferry ride to the island with its large expanse of unspoilt sandy beach, cafes and Sun beds and Parasols for rent.There are coastal walks and activities such as surfing,fishing,boat trips, diving and birdwatching are all available locally. Watch out for flamingoes and storks and many other bird species. There are a good selection of Golf courses within easy driving distance.

Fuzeta station is an eight minute walk from the apartment where you can catch a train that runs from the Spanish border in the east to Lagos in the west giving an easy way to visit the nearby interesting towns of Olhao, Faro and Tavira or the opportunity to venture further afield.

“Excellent quipped apartment”

The description and photos are fully accurate. The apartment is fully equipped with all essentials and some more. The complex is well maintained by Mars. All communication was excellent. Supermarket and train station are less than 10 minutes walk. The square and ferry a few minutes more. Good selection of family run restaurants , service can be slow. Pool area usually quiet, but most of the parasols are damaged with a notice stating they will not be repaired! BBQ and Garden area are great , but watch out for ants which can hide (and bite) in the artificial grass.

“Great stay in Fuzeta”

We had a fantastic week long stay, the apartment was perfect and the town was great, especially the beeches. It was really useful to have the train station just a few minutes walk away, providing quick and easy access to local towns. We checked out Casa Corvo, amazing value and wonderful atmosphere, plus the best fish ever. The white van man delivered each morning and was perfect for water deliveries and the larger supermarket in town had a good selection of food & drink, much more useful than the closer one. The apartment was well furnished and very clean, it has extensive kitchen equipment and a good outside space. The folk at MARS and Hilary were all brilliant, answering any questions and providing advice when needed.
