N I T B 4* rated ...Delightful family self catering bungalow. In tranquil rural settings with breathtaking views across the countryside. Located only four miles from the famous Bushmills distillery where you can take a steam train to the Giants Causeway. Within a short drive are the stunning beaches of Whitepark Bay, Portrush and Ballycastle.

Golf courses at Portballintrae only 2 miles away and the Famous Portrush Golf course being 7 miles. You could also take a ferry accross to Raithlin Island great for bird watchers. Or walk the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge! Wonderful restaurants and bars in the surrounding areas many serving local produce.

The cottage is set in beautiful gardens offering spacious living accommodation with bed linen, towels, oil and electric supplied.

Enjoy sightseeing along the North Coast, fish in local rivers, lakes or at sea. Or just relax in the garden or conservatory. A peaceful retreat!

“An excellent place to stay”

We stayed at Gwendoline’s Retreat for 2 weeks. It was an excellent place to stay. We travelled around the area visiting Portrush, the Giant’s Causeway, Ballycastle and Rathlin Island. We even managed day trips to Donegal and Belfast.?we also had time to relax and watch the farmer working in the fields next door, and some commonwealth games on Tv. The accommodation was well equipped and only lacked a dishwasher and an internet connection!

“A Beautiful home”

Was really pleased with the cottage was big and spacious ,had everything you could possibly need . Great location ideal for exploring the causeway coast and beyond .car needed . Only downfall was no wifi . Shall definately return

“Peace, quiet and access”

4 miles from Bushmills, minutes from Giant’s Causeway and Portrush access to this part of Ulster is magnificent. Further on Ballycastle for boat trips, especially to Carrick- a - Rede and also Dunluce Castle gives you the essence of our holiday. The cottage is nicely furnished and equipped. Feed the birds and a variety will visit. A niggle is no WiFi.

How do damage deposits work?

If Gwen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
