Do you need relaxation and energy in your life? Is it lovely for you to true green holiday in the tuscan picture? Know our little country house: The Caio is an old farm in the medieval tower house, preserving all the charm of the old structure and traditional furnishings. It stands on a typical Tuscan hill, shaded by cypress trees, facing the medieval village of Cetona. All around the green of olive trees, vineyards, fields of cereals and sunflowers and the Cetona Mount, covered with woods. The Caio is also easily accessible, while being so quiet and panoramic position. There are many opportunities for recreation and culture, prehistoric caves and the archaeological museum in Cetona, art towns of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio (Val d'Orcia, Montepulciano, Chiusi, Città della Pieve, Orvieto, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, etc.), swimming pools and spas, the lakes of Bolsena and Trasimeno, Monte Cetona and Amiata for hiking or mountain biking, skating, tennis, fishing lake of Chiusi. In summer celebrations and festivals, tournaments, chivalry, theater and outdoor concerts. The large garden surrounded by cypresses, is equipped with deck chairs and table. The apartment consists of 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large living room with fireplace and 3 large windows, furnished with sofa, dining table, antique furniture. The kitchen, in the ancient Tuscan style, is equipped with stove, sink, fridge.
At Caio you can eat: Eleanor and Stephen, who live on the ground floor of the house, are happy to let you taste the typical dishes of Tuscany and cook pasta, bread and cake hand maked, roasted duck, goose, chicken and pork, vegetablesfrom the garden, barbecue and grilled Florentine.
The Caio is an ancient farmhouse built in the Renaissance by a medieval tower-house, whose thick stone walls remain the escarpment. Today it houses a small, family-run farmhouse, retaining all the charm of the ancient structure and traditional furniture. Is the typical Tuscan hill shaded by cypress trees, facing the medieval town of Cetona with its cluster of houses cling to the highest fortress. All around the green of a campaign cultivated with ancient flavour, olive groves, vineyards, small handkerchiefs of cereals and sunflowers, Woods and brooms, dominated by Monte Cetona, covered with Oaks and Cedars. The Caio is also easily accessible, while being in a quiet and panoramic location. Directly on the paved road, is less than 2 miles. from the village, reachable with a nice walk. Around a thousand opportunities for recreation and culture: prehistoric caves and Archaeological Museum in Cetona, the numerous art villages between Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio, pools and spas, lakes of Bolsena and Trasimeno, equipped with pedalos, beaches and the Monte Cetona and Amiata for hiking or mountain-biking, skating, tennis, fishing at the Lake of Chiusi. And parties and festivals, Knightly tournaments, theatre and outdoor concerts.
