“Great condo!!! but...”

Reviewed 20 Feb 2012

This condo is great. Very well laid out and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to work in. We had four adults and four children and had plenty of room. Location is good and the private shuttle is fantastic. It makes continuous circles and is also on call. Never waited more than a few minutes. Now the bad part. The description says this is a ski in- ski out property. I even confirmed this before making the reservation. Unfortunately, this is not entirely true. You have to walk down the sidewalk, down some stairs, across a parking lot and down a small hill to the ski access trail. Not exactly my version of ski in - ski out. coming back to the condo is even worse. You catch a different trail further up the hill to ski back to the condo. Again, unfortunately this trail is very narrow and requires frequently pushing. When we were they in February, before all the big snow storms, there were spots of no snow just mud on the trail. We had to remove our skis and hike back. It is a long hike. The condo was great and thankfully so was the shuttle service. I just wish these agencies and condo owners would be honest about their ski in - ski out connivence.
