“It was horrible”
Place was dirty and the AC was locked away set at 75 (when it's 100 out, the house will be 78)! Pool was dirty and the deck was covered in fire ants. Toilets were dirty the bath tub was nasty and nothing there was usable. The couch is torn up and extremely used/uncomfortable. Blankets in the closets had dead spiders in them. If you want a pool heater (which includes the heater for the hot tub), it is a minimum of 7 days which will cost $300! That doesn't help us when we are there for 3 days, just ridiculous. I will not use lowreys ever again. We stay at vacation rentals a few times a year and if you're reading this don't stay at this one.

This is a very unfortunate and difficult review to submit. After heartfelt discussion, my sister and I felt it would be a disservice to others if we remained silent. The most discouraging part of this rental was the daily phone calls we made. The admin. staff were courteous. They consistently advised us to send an email to the manager, in an attempt to rectify the non-existent pool heat, which we prepaid at $35/day, though did not receive for 6 days. We wasted countless hours of our vacation time in an attempt to have this situation remedied. The single response we received from Brian, the manager, was on Dec. 30th in the following email excerpt: "I know you have paid for pool heat for the duration of your stay. I also understand that the pool heat was on but that the pool needed water added to it which is what caused the pool heater to not heat properly. Unfortunately a refund will only apply if there is a mechanical breakdown of the pool heater. In this instance there was no mechanical breakdown. All pools will lose water each day due to evaporation. Weather, pool usage, etc will impact the water levels and is a normal occurrence. If you have further questions don't hesitate to contact me. Brian" We have subsequently called, left messages, and emailed to reiterate that we could not use the pool. Neither Brian or any Lowery's staff came by to inspect the equipment or pool. It is unacceptable to be charged for something, they clearly are aware will not work, as per their bogus reply, and which is not our responsibility to maintain. Regrettably, we have yet to receive any further response nor a refund for these invalid charges. Respectfully submitted, Jasmine and Lydia
“wonderful vacation home”
First time with Lowery rentals. Beautiful spacious home, clean. all the amenities, Love the pool, very relaxing at the end of the day, Will stay again when possible,

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Lowery's Vacation home. We looked forward to booking updated events with your company. It was a very enjoyable visit. The homes was very clean and well organized to accommodate everyone. There was activities in the homes to keep the children occupied examples; Hookie & pool tables, different movies, games, playing cards and plus the location was great. We didn't have to go far to the stores near Walmart and Publix.
“A little disappointed”
The house and pool were nice. We were disappointed in the house. The house had a musty smell the whole 2 weeks we were there. We did mention this and were told to turn the air up and it would clean out the house. This did not help. We also had an entire nest of ants in the bathroom. I spent the whole vacations spraying the bathroom. We also had roaches in the garage. I am sure they were noted in the house also. We have rented from all Star Vacation homes about 6 times and we have never had these issues. We liked the house we saw in your picture so we decided to try your company. We also payed $650 to heat the pool and it was pretty cold the whole first week we were there. I can honsetly say we most likely will not use your complany again. I am sure not all of your houses have these issues, but as a first impression this was disappointing. Thank you for your time.

The rental home that we stayed in was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. We took advantage of the club house on numerous occasions and had a great time swimming, playing tennis, pool and ping pong.
“Very pleasant experience on the whole”
Although house was large and spacious, there are a couple of points I need to highlight. The poolside table was absolutely filthy with discarded paper cups containing undrank liquids and extinguished cigarettes. We had to clean this ourselves. Lowery's staff did not make contact at all to see if we had arrived safely, whether we needed any assistance whatsoever or instructions regarding recycling etc.

We enjoyed the home very much. It was spacious and suited our needs. When we needed help with the aC, the service was prompt and they were very courteous. I enjoyed the location of the home. It was quiet area and had everything we needed. I liked that there were a few bathrooms, washer and dryer. I just found that the one of the bed linens were not so clean and there was some leftover cookies in the kitchen cabinets. Overall we were thrilled with the house and would definately stay there again.

We had a great stay. Very nice house with a good location. We did however have some issues 1) I had trouble having to send my signed receipt to Lowery's 4 times by email before it was accepted as the correct one. 2) The pool heating was not turned on until either the day of our arrival or the day after when we complained. 3) The lock on the patio door to the house was broken and easily opened from the outside. When the repairman came he only partly fixed the problem
