“Great apartment!!!”

Fantastic apartment with an amazing kitchen!! Best of all is the sounds system with indoor and outdoor speakers...provides a great mood to any gathering.

“Home away from home!”

If you want to feel like you are on a luxury vacation in Mexico you must stay in this condo!! This condo has so much charm that you wont want to leave. From the hand painted paintings on the wall to the Mexican tile throughout this is a great condo for a true playa experience. The location is amazing as it gives you complete privacy and quiet while steps away you can enjoy all that playa has to offer. We enjoyed cooking out on the balcony that overlooks the jungle and ocean and we also enjoyed using the chefs kitchen. The Bric team is also amazing! They were very helpful in getting us settled in and were always there to answer or questions and offer assistance. We will definitely be staying there again!!

“Exceedes expectations!”

Reviewed 3 Feb 2013

This was our 3rd trip to Playa del Carmen. We have done all inclusive, hotel and now condo. By far this was our best experience! Having the freedom to eat at home when we wanted was a nice break from restaurant food. From start to finish Bric rentals looked after our every need. I was most impressed with their communication and how fast they got back to us. The condo was cleaned very well everyday by the maid service. The staff were amazing. One other very important highlight was the security, always a presence at the gate in the later hours when coming home and quite frequently you would notice them walking the floors of the buildings. All in all it was a great experience not without some issues but they were handled quickly and to our satusfaction. We would stay again!!!

“One of our best trips in 9 years”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2012

My wife and I have visited Playa del Carmen 15 times and of those visits we have stayed in condos 8 times. I have rented thru Bric several times and have found that I have the best experiences renting thru them. This last trip I called their represenative that I have become accustomed to using and described to her my budget and desires in a condo. She suggested Bosque de los aluxes #304. I took a look at it and it is not the typical condo we would rent. I usually like the upscale modern condos, this one has alot of Mexican tile with the bold colors etc, but she has never disappointed me. This time was no exception, the condo far exceeded my expectations and the photos do not do it justice in my opinion. The longer we stayed the more we fell in love with it. The only thing we didnt care for was the 2 beds in the only bedroom. It would be nice to have one big (softer) bed. The kitchen is top of the line amazing for Mexico, but it should be, its owned by a famous chef. The owner is also an artist and the walls are covered with his impressive work. We can't wait to get back to our new home away from home. We hope to rent this condo many times in the future. Security - If you want to feel secure, rent this condo. First you have to have a key to unlock a heavy steel door that is about 6 ft. wide to get to the elevator. When you get off the elevator you must unlock another gate to get to your door. 3 different keys. A hassle sometimes, but absolutely worth it.. As far as Bric International goes, I doubt I will ever rent thru another agency. They are incredible. They meet you at the condo, check up on you throughout your stay, and even give you a cell phone with phone numbers programed in case you have any issues. The condo was cleaned every day by a maid and she did an outstanding job. I give it five stars everywhere but a 4 for comfort because the beds are a little hard for us, but it was not a big deal, we have never really had a comfortable bed in Mexico.

“Great location/Great place”

Bosques de los aluxes 304 was a great place to stay in PDC. Beautiful view, wonderful location on 5th ave, but on the north side of town, so nice and quite. The outside terrace is fantastic - spent most of our time out there.

Response from the manager Hola Steve Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review. We really do appreciate it. Nikki Novielli Bric Vacation Rentals

“Home away from home!”

Reviewed 12 Feb 2010

Suite 304 in the Bosque de los Aluxes is a lovely, spacious, home away from home in Playa del Carmen. It is located in a perfect area: close enough to all the action of 5th avenue and the best beach clubs in town, but still in a quiet enough part of the strip to get a good night sleep. It is directly above the Coffee Cafe, which is great for those of us who need our morning espresso drinks! The apartment is well stocked with all the neccessities you would find in your own home, and is well maintained and cleaned daily by staff. Although you will find everything you need to cook all your meals at home, the selection of restaurants and cafes in the area make it difficult to stay in for dinner! There is one bedroom with 2 beds, so probably best for a family. The only complaint is that the jacuzzi tub outside is not heated, and barely bubbles. As long as you arrive aware that it is NOT a hot-tub, this is fine. Everything else was wonderful and we will definitely consider staying there again when we go back to Playa.

“xmas vacation”

Reviewed 15 Jan 2010

unit was ok, not anything extraordinary, pool was a disappointment as in the shade almost all day and not heated. frig in kitchen did not work, so they put an extra one in dining room. parts stacked on top of kitchen unit very unsightly. we did not order groceries , yet they were in the unit and we were charged for them, after being told they would be taken off bill. construction noise was an issue, however all in all, ok..probably would not use this unit again. others seem better furnished and nicer.

“Artist's Delight and a Chef's dream”

Reviewed 16 May 2009

This home has an amazing vibe as redolent as the town of Playa itself. Location is close to all yet has a secluded side most area properties can't match. Mamitas beach club is a short walk away and 5th avenue as well. But location is only part of the story. This is, after all, a penthouse overlooking the beach and Cozumel Island with an incredible balcony, Bose speaker system, and private splash pool facing the beach by day or the moon at night. The inside was designed by a pair of artists well attuned to these tropical surroundings. Visually unique and stimulating, but comfortable and not too gaudy, the artists have created Yucatan magic with a taste of France. When listening to the CD player and music selections provided, my wife and I were transported to Paris. And watching Julia Child on the DVD player was gastronomically inspiring. Yes, the best part is the kitchen where the chef of the family (or chefs) may create their own artistic breafast, lunches, and dinner with the best appliances and this home's European inspirations. The freshest seafood, prime steaks, straight- from -the -farm vegetables and artisan breads are easily available at local groceries with very reasonable prices. And if one whishes to go out, the choices are wonderful and plenty. The owners have thoughtfully left suggestions as well as their art and generous hearts. We will not forget the time spent in this Casa. Also, a big thanks to the beautiful and helpful ladies at the BRIC office. We will return.
