“Nice get away cottage”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2014

We stayed in Sandbagger in early July, 2014. It is very clean and freshly renovated. All of the alliances in the kitchen were only two months old. The master bed was good and our 2 boys had no issues in the queen. There are lots of beds if you have visitors stay. Walk to the beach was short and we used our own beach cart. Hard to see the ocean from the house, you can't actually see the beach or the surf even though the house is on high ground. We enjoyed being high up and looking across the treetops. The house is very comfortable. Close to shopping and in a nice, quite neighborhood close to EI Realty too. I would have liked some additional pots and frying pans to work with. One reason for renting a house is to cook some of your own meals and save money. Try cooking breakfast for everyone in a frying pan that is not non-stick or too small and you might ask for some better cooking utensils too. I do understand that renters will ruin a nice T-Fal pan with a brillo pad in short order, but a non-stick set would be nice for a while. This was one of the less expensive places that EI Realty has and would recommend it to others, but with vacation insurance ($120) and the local tax ($195) the price per night comes out to $260/night in high season, which is getting expensive for a single family.

“Great Place”

This house is near everything! Within a 3 minute walk to the beach, within 5 minutes to shops and restaurants. The ground floor could be used as a "mother in law" suite or if you are bringing along another couple. Everything is clean and newly updated. The kitchen was well equipped. Since we vacationed during the winter months we didn't get to use the outdoor decks but would have loved the ones on the top level that look out over the ocean. The boys had a great time playing with the foosball table in the garage too! Would definitely stay here again!
