“Great House! Kid Friendly!”

Reviewed 7 Apr 2017

House was everything we needed. Great for two families. Kids had there own space. Lots of fun with ping pong, foosball, bikes, Wii. Relaxing week for the adults. The BBQ is a little worn, but other than that everything was great. We have already booked our next stay.

Response from the manager Thank you for your feedback on regarding your stay with us at Sunriver! We look forward to accommodating you and family in the future! Warm Regards, Village Properties in Sunriver

“Clean Places - Not worth the money!!!”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2017

This was my 6th year in Sunriver for New Years. This house is clean and the living room has a great open space. The master bath is ok... looks better in the pictures than when using it. The kitchen was well supplied. The master bed is awful. One of the worst in my rental history. The bedroom with the bunk beds, is a converted old garage, with very poor lighting. The single car garage is a mess with a newer ping pong table in it, that really could not be used. Last year I stayed in 7 Big Sky Lane for the same money, but there is no comparisons. I would have stayed in 7 Big Sky Lane again if it was not for booking a little to late. Ok house, but for that money you have better options in Sunriver. I would recommend this house as a backup option with no alternatives.

Response from the manager We appreciate your input regarding your stay with us at Sunriver. We will take these things into consideration. We look forward to accommodating you and your family in the near future! Warm regards, Village Properties in Sunriver

“Nice house, problematic rental company”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2016

We liked the house overall. The main room was fantastic, much larger and brighter than it looks in the pictures. There were 2 nice outdoor spaces, but the house is pretty exposed to the road. The bunk bed room was in the corner of the house-maybe an addition?-and completely removed from the other 2 bedrooms. With older kids this would have been great, but with our young kids it was problematic. The mattresses in the master and bunk bed room were in bad shape and I took a star off for that. However, the living area furniture was comfortable and in good shape. The other star I take off for Village Properties. Booking was easy and I found them to be responsive during this process, but I received no response to several emails I sent after our stay to ask about items I think we left at the house. I tried contacting them using a couple of different email addresses and didn't even get a courtesy response. That's pretty poor customer service and I probably won't book a Sunriver rental with Village Properties again as a result.

“Open Concept”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2015

Nice beds. Large living with nice comfortable furniture. Spacious dining area featuring a beautiful long wood table. Lots of counter and cupboard space with a raised bar and 4 stools. Master bath has wonderful walk-in shower. Felt main bath too small, and the stove top seemed to have a mind of it's own. Kitchen colors dark and not the best lighting. Good for large family or bunch of guys; but with an all women group it was disappointing for some especially with no air conditioning.

Response from the manager I am happy that all of the furnishings were comfortable and the layout of the home fit most of your needs well. The owners of 5 Alpine have done a amazing job remodeling their home. I have made note that you felt the kitchen could use more lighting. There are very few homes in Sunriver that have air conditioning. Normally June is a bit milder than it was this year. This home is set up perfectly for 2 families with kids or 3 couples with the pyramid bunk beds. We look forward to your next visit to Sunriver.

“Nice house”

Reviewed 20 Jul 2014

We loved the house. It fit us all perfectly!! The only thing is no AC. It wasn't to bad though we had the fans going the whole time and it stayed pretty cool:)

Response from the manager Thank you so much for your feedback regarding 5 Alpine Ln. We are so pleased to hear that your overall experience was pleasant. We look forward to accommodating you and your family in the future. Warm regards, Village Properties in Sunriver

“A nice weekend in a cozy home.”

Reviewed 29 Jan 2014

We stayed at 5 alpine for 3 nights. The home was very comfortable for our group. The open living area and hot tub were especially nice. The bunk room is away from the other two bedrooms, so the kids had their own area where they were not disturbed after bedtime. Also, the walking path is right off the back deck and central to many areas of Sunriver. We were locked out of the garage due to a problem with the lock but someone came by the next afternoon to let us in and make 3 new keys for the sets. The only issue I had is that the garage has no access directly into the home. The firewood is stored in the garage as is the barbeque. To access them you need to go out the front door and through the large garage door. Also, I may always relate this home to my Niners losing to the stinkin' Seahawks! I would definately consider staying at this home again and would also go through Village Properties again.

Response from the manager Thanks Jerry, The owners did some incredible upgrades in their home. I love the kitchen and the bathrooms. Glad you could join us. Rick

“Great place!”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2014

We've been going to Sunriver for years and stayed at a few places. This was one of the best homes we stayed at. The layout was great for kids and a couple of families, and we had a great time. We will definitely stay here again, we loved it!

Response from the manager Excellent Andrea, The owner recently re-modeled and did an incredible job with the kitchen and the bathrooms. Glad you enjoyed it. Rick

“This is a beautifully remodeled and decorated home.”

Reviewed 16 Oct 2013

Our group of 8 (family + friends) had a wonderful stay. The "great room" (kitchen, dining, living room) allowed us all to be together much of the time, without being on top of each other. When we needed more comfy seating, we brought out the beanbag chairs from the bedroom. Fyi: The Sunriver grocery store has something similar to a RedBox where you can rent movies. I particularly loved the open kitchen. It had ample counter and pantry space, and plenty of dishes for our crowd. The bunkbed room was fun; the beds were sturdy with mattresses on the hard side - adequate for the younger ones. The king and queen sized beds had plush new pillow-top mattresses; very cozy.

Response from the manager Thanks Ellen, The owners have done an incredible job re-modeling their home. I love the granite counter-tops and the bathrooms are gorgeous. So glad you enjoyed it! Rick

“Beautiful property”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2013

We really enjoyed our stay at 5 alpine Lane. The home has been updated beautifully and the kitchen is well equipped. Wonderful new hot tub as well. The home is right on the bike path and so it was very convenient to go just about anywhere on our bikes. Just a short ride to Fort Rock Park. We will definitely stay here again.

Response from the manager Wonderful Tara, The owner has done some really nice things there. I love the granite counter tops in the kitchen and that bathroom in the master bedroom is awesome. Glad you enjoyed it. Rick

“Nicely refurbished home”

Reviewed 2 Oct 2013

We found this home very comfortable and furnished better than many of the other homes we have rented in Sunriver. We will definitely consider renting this home again. Our only suggestion is to see if there is something they can do to increase the lighting in the kitchen area. The issue is likely because there is no attic from which to install typical lighting. Also, while there is a ping pong table in the garage, the lighting is such that it basically is too dark to use during the evening. Other than that, we totally enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to our friends.

Response from the manager Thanks Rick & Lois, That is a very nice location being so close to the park and the river. We will talk with the owners about the lighting. Thanks again. Rick
