“Solid condo for the price”

This 2BR/2BA unit served my family well during our time on Maui. First, the positives. The condo was spacious enough for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 boys ages 9 & 11) and we never felt cramped. Bathrooms were well appointed and the place was clean and as shown in the pictures online. The AC worked well for us and the property was easy to get to and utilize. There is a handy binder in the unit to educate you on local food/dining options. Easy access to the pool was very nice and convenient. Quiet hours start at 10PM - just be aware that means you can't even sit in the area surrounding the pool at that time. The rate was very fair for the unit and its location. You are walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to the main area of Lahaina town, so that was very convenient for all of us. No major complaints at all. Now some minor negatives. Paying to park ($20/day) is a minor nuisance. Street parking could be possible, but with the unit's location (back of property) isn't very practical. The bed in the master bedroom is VERY soft - keep that in mind if you prefer a firm mattress. One side is particularly worn/sunken. It would benefit from a new mattress, but if you like it soft you'll probably be fine. One of the cushions on the main sofa has an inner spring that has busted through its casing. It isn't poking out of the cushion, but makes it somewhat uncomfortable. There is some obvious water damage to the door of the master bathroom and some surrounding areas. It isn't a small amount, but didn't affect the stay - just looks poor. If the AC wasn't running, there would be a slight musty smell in the unit - not sure if that is related to the previous water damage or not. There is a very small amount of silverware in the unit, just enough for a group of 4 to eat one good meal and have to wash it to have more to use. The knives are kept for some reason in the bottom drawer in the kitchen rather than in a knife block - didn't understand that at all. The ice cube trays in the freezer were dirty enough that my wife didn't want to use them - so we bought ice at the local food store, which was an easy enough solution. Needs plastic wine glasses to bring out to pool area. Was tough to get in touch with agents via email right before my stay started on an issue I was trying to get resolved. Could have called the office once I arrived, but by then it was essentially too late. Again, none of these are individually major issues, but in total prevent me from being able to give a 5 star rating - probably on the low end of 4 stars considering the number of nagging issues.

“Returning joy”

Perfect place to stay so close to all that you want to do! All within walking distance. Lahaina has so much to offer , just getting her was a pleasure hwy. 30 views into lahaina just kept us in our seats. Could not wait to get out of the car and jump in the water. Early morning walks made my days so enjoyable with each step. I'LL BE BACK!

“Best Week Ever!”

We had the best time in Maui during our stay here in Aina Nalu D-103. The 2bd condo was perfect - super spacious and very modern! It was just steps away from the amazing infinity pool which was super convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed in order to cook. They even had a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a tote bag for us to use when we went to the beach. We went out and bought some floating tubes for ourselves. Instead of taking them home with us, we decided to leave them there for future groups to play with. The location was central to everything we needed! Front Street was just a short walking distance away. Lots of good restaurants to eat at. We opted not to buy the daily parking pass at the resort and found street parking or parked on a cheaper lot just around the corner. The washing machine/dryer came in handy. We used it a lot to wash our towels and clothes. The light in one of the showers was burnt out, so I called Jeri and she was willing to come in the very next morning to replace it. However, my 2 friends that were using that bathroom didn't mind, so I told her not to worry. Communication with Leanne and Jeri was extremely easy. I had called and emailed a few times prior to the trip. They were so nice every single time! Another thing I loved was that we didn't have to worry about carrying a key around or losing it since it's a keypad entry. This was my first trip to Maui, but not my last! I'd definitely book this condo again if it's available!

After years of coming to Lahaina I have found a location that I for sure will be staying at years to come. The condos are spacious and extremely clean and well kept up. The grounds are well maintained and no need to feel unsafe with their security staff that are personable and always present on property. Location is literally walking distance from any amenity you can think of. Definitely has rates that you feel justified and worthwhile spending, which by way are lower than other local and less accommodating resorts. Mahalo for making a vacation a vacation.
