Description
The villa is situated in the heart of the Var's wine growing region, lying in a calm and peaceful area, surrounded by vines and trees. It is the perfect get away for relaxation and yet only a few minutes from all necessary amenities. The villa has most of the living space on one level. It has been totally renovated in 2004 with brand new kitchen and bathrooms & most of the villa will be repainted during winter 06/07. The tiled kitchen opens onto the dining and salon which leads onto the terrace and pool (12m x 6m). The living area is comfortably furnished with a fire place, T.V., sofas and chairs. The 2 acre mature garden is surrounded by high hedges and is fenced off from the river at the bottom of the garden. Nearest neighbours are about 80m from our hedge.
This is a great holiday home for families, either several generations of one family or two families. There is loads of space in the villa and gardens to have fun and games or to get away for those moments of peace and privacy

The large master bedroom (42m2) has an en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. There are french windows and a terrace off the master bedroom offering beautiful views of the garden. Other bedrooms on this level are: Twin 12m2, Twin 15m2 and large 24m2 double bedroom with a mezzanine (an additional 16m2) which can be used as a living area. The fifth bedroom (15m2) in the basement has an en-suite shower room. There is also a 'living area' with sofa, chairs, books and games just next to the fifth bedroom.
Both bathrooms have baths with hand showers, additional large separate shower 'rooms', toilets and basins. The en-suite shower room has a basin and mirrored cabinet.
For babies and toddlers there’s a changing table, steriliser, plates, cups, cutlery, 2 high chairs, bouncy "chair" for babies, small soft armchair & moses basket.

The large under ground garage comfortably parks 2 cars and keeps them cool in the hot summer months. The terrace off the master bedroom, facing a large expanse of garden, is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sounds of nature. Access to the second terrace (60m2) is via the 3 glass doors from the salon and dining room. This terrace is the main outdoor eating area (half shaded) with beautiful views over the garden and swimming pool. There is a BBQ unit on the terrace with table and chairs. Since there is so little air pollution in this area you are treated to a stunning display of stars at night as you sip your hot chocolate or finish off a glass of wine.
The pool (12x6m) has a safely fence around it and the pool area is fully equipped with 10 sun loungers & umbrellas. If you prefer to get a little closer to nature, you can enjoy a picnic by the river.

“FAMILY FRIENDLY FABULOUS VILLA IN PERFECT SETTING”
Spent a gloriously relaxing time in your fabulously spacious and amazingly well equipped villa. Although we spent part of the first week exploring the coast and many places of interest, so easily accessed from this perfect location, it was quite a wrench to leave the beautiful terrace and pool, with the extensive garden providing the perfect balance of tranquility and privacy. The second week provided plenty of opportunity for al fresco dining and the well equipped kitchen and Barbecue facilitated this perfectly. The children had a ball, spending hours of enjoyment between the pool,the trampoline and having fun in the shaded den; the perfect safe environment for them. The villa and it's surroundings was the perfect holiday choice for us and we cannot wait to return.

“A Fabulous villa to holiday with the family in the Var”
We have just returned from a fabulous family holiday in this amazing villa. It is situated in a truly a beautiful spot in the Var and has every facility you could possibly wish for. We were all bowled over by the setting it is so quiet and peaceful yet within easy reach of every amenity you might need or want to visit. On arrival, we found the villa was spotlessly clean with every facility one could possibly need. We had four children ages ranging from four to eleven. The copious amount of toys were just amazing and our two smallest little girls, they had the most wonderful time playing with them all. The kitchen was very well equipped and this coupled with the barbeque made providing meals effortless, even for ten of us! Normally we would dine out a few evenings during our holiday at local restaurants but we cancelled our bookings because the villa was so idyllic for our family, after dinner the children were able to entertain themselves in the grounds, in the house or mainly on the trampoline whilst the adults enjoyed the wonderfully balmy evenings relaxing on the terrace. The house is indeed very spacious and our group of tenseemed lost in it. The sitting room is very comfortable and well appointed with every device needed. Although, only the children used this area to watch a DVD in the early mornings, the adults always gravitated to the wonderful outside terrace to enjoy the amazing views, read, use the Internet or enjoy long chats accompanied by the obligatory glass of liquid refreshment from the local vineyards. All the bedrooms are very well appointed with reading lamps and plenty of hanging space. The mattresses, bed linen and towels were all of very good quality and the configuration of bathrooms and on suites worked very well for our large group. The villa also has a hair dryer if one needs one. The pool is large and totally fantastic with enough good quality sun beds for all and plenty of umbrellas to shade you from the mid day sun. The two little girls were non-swimmers when we arrived but by the end of day one they were launching themselves of the steps of the pool with the aid of' Pool Noodles,' some of which were provided so they older children had ones to play with too. Having graduated steps into the pool was super, particularly for the younger children and the adults who like to gently launch themselves into the water! The safety fence around the pool was excellent and the mechanism on the gate excluded any unwanted access to the pool. The trampoline was just fantastic, when the children were taking a breather from the pool they enjoyed using up their boundless energy honing their trampoline skills or just using it as a place to 'hang out' away from the adults. This coupled with the amazing grounds had all the children saying 'this was the best holiday ever!' Of course, if the children are happy and entertained the adults totally relax and the only sad thing is the holiday was over far too quickly. Jonathan was super to deal with, any query we had, resulting mainly because we had not read the information provided properly, he instantly responded with all the answers and additional help. Nothing was ever too much trouble he was so helpful and diligent. Our week in the Var was, and we reiterate the children’s opinion, ‘totally brilliant and the best holiday ever,’ and we have rebooked for 2015
