Description

Apartment Bellini is on the ground floor of Villa Giuliana, a modernised farm property located in an exclusive residential area, Monte San Quirico, 4 km from the centre of Lucca. The apartment. which has a large south facing terrace and shares a large outdoor pool, is in peaceful surroundings but close to the vibrant city, with many exclusive shops and interesting buildings, including palazzos and towers, one with trees on top. Lucca has many good restaurants and coffee shops in which to find local cuisine and regional specialities.

There is parking amid private grounds, which have views of the countryside & mountains.

The towers of San Gimignano are 2 hours by car, whilst Florence, with all its beautiful and important buildings, is approximately 1 hour away, and beaches are within 45 minutes distance. There are good public transport links by train and bus to other parts of Tuscany. The Garfagnana area lies an easy drive to the north and is considered a particularly striking and beautiful part of Tuscany owing to its mountains and hill-top villages. It offers opportunities for many activities including walking, Mountain Bike, Cycling, Quad biking and Trekking as well as skiing in the resort of Abetone, and a lido at Bagni di Lucca.

No parties allowed, booked number of guests is the maximum allowed at any one time unless specifically requested.
Suitable for children older than 10 years however please consider that the pool doesn't have any surrounding fencing, there's no guard on duty, the interior of the apartment has hard tile floors, the terrace area is not gated to the car-park and there's furniture with sharp corners, i.e tables, kitchen worktops etc, all generally as can be seen in the photos on the site.

“Lucca Retreat with wonderful terrace and pool”

We had a very happy 6 night stay with our children aged 11 and 8 at this property. A very spacious, well equipped and spotless apartment with every comfort catered for. The private terrace with mountain views was stunning and there was a beautiful large pool with landscaped gardens. Only a 5-10 minute drive from centre of Lucca with a secure car park. We would love to return and would happily recommend this property.

“Spacious and sophisticated, glorious setting and views”

Very high standards of furnishings & very well equipped appartment for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Ideally located on the edge of Lucca with spacious, sunny patio overlooking the Tuscan hills. An ideal base for visiting Lucca and exploring the surrounding countryside and mountains.

“A lovely place to stay”

A spacious and very well equipped apartment very conveniently situated just outside the lovely city of Lucca. We had a rental car, which we found was necessary for getting to the station or anywhere else, and also for buying groceries etc. Set up on the hill we found the apartment quiet and restful and also liked the security of a padlocked gate at night. Everything we needed for our stay was in the apartment and we particularly appreciated the mosquito protectors on the doors!

“Comfortable, well appointed apartment in lovely peaceful setting.”

A lovely apartment which exceeded our expectations. It is well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. The location was perfect for us - very peaceful whilst being only a few minutes drive from all that Lucca has to offer. An excellent base for sightseeing.

“Great flat in peaceful location”

When booking, we had some reservations about staying outside of Lucca, but upon arrival they were immediately dispelled. The flat was very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. It was a real joy after a day's activity to come back to the peace and quiet of the flat and to sit on the terrace looking out towards the hills whilst being serenaded by birds and bull frogs! It was only a five minute drive to a large free car park (located about 200 metres from the city walls), supermarket etc. The flat was well positioned for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Viareggio (a must for boat lovers!) and many more. We have already highly recommended this flat to friends!

How do damage deposits work?
